Nice set up when you buy the blades with a disposable bin built in so you don’t have to worry about disposal. The knife itself works well.

This is a great tool to have in hand, especially as an art student. I really appreciate the container the blades come in, I never have to worry about being poked or finding a place to discard my dull blades. The one thing I would say is that a piece of the cap for the knife snapped off making it not as tight if a connection to the knife but I haven’t had any issues due to it, just be careful not to break that piece.

It's a tool that works, I put a foam pencil grip on it because I don't like the feel of the metal, but that's me. If you need a razor knife like this, this is the one

This would have five stars if the "safety cap" actually stayed on. Unfortunately, it likes to slide off and you don't always realize it until you reach for it. Found out the hard way.

X-Acto always makes great products. The only thing I can fault them for with this knife is the [very small] plastic blade cover . . . guaranteed to make it easy to slice your fingers when putting it on or taking it off. After market plastic covers that cover the blade and part of the handle are available. For me, these are a lot easier to use and much safer than the one that comes with the knife.

I’ve been using these handles and blades all my life. They a the gold standard.

These do the job well and work as expected, specially for crafts and miscellaneous cuts. if you don't know how to use them, don't buy them.Keep away from children

Exacto knives are so handy for certain things. These are sharp and precise, easy to change and last nicely.
