To clear any confusion, this product is UN-TOASTED, unrefined, cold-pressed, organic sesame oil. It is delicious, but many people seem to think that all sesame oil is the toasted variety with the very strong flavor. This is simply not the case. The un-toasted oil can be used in larger quantities than the toasted.With that out of the way, sesame oil is a very traditional cooking oil in the orient, often used for blooming spices or frying dry brown rice before adding the water. I like it on popcorn... as well as for the more traditional uses. I experienced the flavor of this oil to be wonderful and overall of very high quality. Make no mistake, cold-pressed, unrefined sesame oil is very healthy to consume in moderation, compared with oil from the same seed that has been excessively heated and/or processed with hexane gas which ain't no good for ya. Unfortunately, all the cheap stuff is as such. However even the purest sesame oil is still a high omega 6 oil, so it's important to balance out its consumption with things like flax (oil or seeds), butter oil (AKA ghee), chia seeds, walnuts, avocado and other higher omega 3 sources of fat.The only two minor complaints I have are as follows:(1) The lid arrived with a crack that made it hard to travel with (I am somewhat nomadic)(2) I wish the bottle was glass because there is already too much plastic in the world and even if we stopped using it immediately and completely it's already in our oceans and soils and is one of the worst endocrine disruptors that won't stop feminizing humanity for the foreseeable future! (Whew!) Say goodbye to the men! If you think my hat is made from tin foil, please don't worry. It's actually made from a silver/cotton amalgam.

Great product tast Great

I've read some reviews here that it's hard to open. The thing is you guys are doing it wrong! You are supposed to open the cap and poke that plastic in the middle and try to poke another hole in another side ( for good flow). Don't try to take it off unless you want to transfer it in another bottle. Great for cooking, taking it like a supplement and my skin loves it! It moisturizes your skin naturally without any junk. It will feel oily at first when you apply it, but it will feel well moisturized in a little bit. I've studied about it. Also, if you take it orally, there was a study that reverses heart tissues damage or something to that effect. So, enjoy your product!

Bottle is small but it's very easy to use it to measure it into a spoon for cooking in the wok and a little oil goes a long way.

If you read what this product is “cold pressed” it is going to have less flavor than “toasted sesame seed oil” so ignore the reviews that say that. It thought it was great and also helped raise my platelet count before I had my baby.

While I don't take sesame oil orally, I have used it the past year to keep my skin nice. I use it morning and before bed on my skin. The slight odor dissipates within 5 minutes. I combine it with flaxseed oil and coconut oil in the evening. I get many compliments on how great my skin looks.

This is great tasting oil. I use a lot of sesame oil for salads, sauteed food, sauces and sprinkled on popcorn. This has a nice flavor. The size is small... I usually buy a larger size.

The bottle itself & the contents were great my lack of stars is the engineering design for the plastic release spout inside the neck of the bottle. It was so difficult to retrieve the oil that I even tried using a tool to cut the valve hole bigger and still it would not come out as I wanted it to. It was a good thought to have that valve but it doesn’t work right and made getting the contents out very fustrating.
