Wonderfully nimble knife, looks great
This is my ideal knife for line cook work. Great angles, nimble shape, great grind and curvature. The petty knife offers 3 size ranges, which is wonderful. The UX line has the geometric bolster which very aesthetic. Heads up, there is some residue chemical smell due to the machining of the knife handle (that should dissipate after some washes with soap and/or alcohol).

Misono continues to impress …
The petty knife is one of the most under appreciated knives in the world of the home cook. To the professional culinarian this knife is as versatile as it comes. Trimming for butchery, scoring vegetables or meat or fish, peeling, small fish butchery, mincing, this knife does it all with precision and a razor sharp edge that is long lasting. This is my third misono ux10 knife and I must say out of all my knives I’ve collected and sold these stand out among the best.

Great for working with fish
I use this knife every day in the kitchen when processing fish. It is sharp and flexible. Some reviews complain about grip size, which I can understand but when using regularly you soon get used to the balance of the knife. Misono’s are one of the go to knives in the kitchen and this one doesn’t disappoint

MISONO petty knife is junk
This knife was junk. Couldn't cut tomato even new(just out of new box). I found the 2 same problems on Japanese amazon site. I grind knife my self. May be I don't buy MISONO knife anymore. 11/10/2021

Razor sharp and light as a feather
This high quality knife is sharp as a razor and will not cause any fatigue in your wrists from using it all day. Very light and great quality. I had one years ago but it was stolen and my new one is just as good as I remember it being.

Very nice knife, recommended. Good first knife.
This is just a fantastic knife. It feels good in the hand (I'm right-handed) and is a great size as a general purpose knife. It takes and holds and edge well. The versatility of this size and format makes it a good first knife for someone who enjoys being in the kitchen and sees the value in fine cultery. One could use this knife as a starting point to build a collection of good knives without wasting a couple hundred bucks on a mass-market "knife-block set" that will always disappoint a little bit. I'd rather have three great knives than 15 OK or bad ones; this is one of those great knives.
