I am so glad we ordered this clock for our mid century modern house. It is a replica of a clock that would have been in such a house when it was built. The clock is well made and beautiful!

This is the most accurate duplication of expensive original you can imagine. Love it

Goes great in the finished basement of my MCM house, and keeps great time. Comes with a note to use carbon zinc batteries (1 AA), though I'm not sure if that's necessary. It appears to run fine on alkaline but I'll switch it out if there are issues. I don't quite understand the handful of bad reviews claiming it's cheap and flimsy. Yes, the hands are a bit delicate, but it's that way on very expensive clocks as well. Otherwise, the spokes are metal and quite sturdy, and the body, which I expected to be resin or plastic, actually appears to be metal (aluminum?) and is very solid. Not sure how it compares to the real deal, but very satisfied with the price and quality as a reproduction.

Very nice looking clock. Real wood blocks with metal case. The hands can easily be pulled off to adjust so it is actually pointing at the blocks. Initially it was not and I was going to return it, but I figured it out.

Love this clock. It is not quite as baby blue as in the photo. It is a muted light blue and gorgeous. You can tell the balls are wood not plastic. The metal sticks that the balls are mounted on make it easy to see the time with just a glance. Being that the clock is free floating, it is very contemporary.

The clock is good looking and accurate. It's a bit difficult to read on a dark wall, but not a deal breaker. Over priced, in my opinion - it's very light weight and feels kinda chintzy. Overall, 3 stars because it's an average product overall.

Clock didn’t work

Years ago, I was gifted an "official" George Nelson Ball Clock in multicolor from Vitra, which I still have. Recently, I wanted to get one in walnut but found there was no official version available in that wood. So I ended up ordering this Shisedeco knock-off, but seriously wondered what I would be getting for one-quarter of the price: $119 minus a 5% coupon vs. $475 that's almost never discounted.Today the clock arrived and I'm stunned: there is literally no observable difference between the two clocks. Materials, construction, quality, size seem to be identical. If there IS a difference, I cannot see it. It leaves me wondering if this isn't coming from the same factory manufacturing the official clocks, although I have no way to know that for sure.Bottom line: it's a five star dupe of the original and you can't ask for better than that.
