So I've had my Canon printer for well over 5 years, I print pages maybe once a week sometimes more sometimes less but I tend to print on card stock. I made the cartridge that came with the printer last this long and then bought these. On regular printer paper the print quality is great but if using cardstock it's impossible to get a clear print. For some reason when printing it puts down a duplicate print that is lighter and shifted, the ink also splatters and takes forever to dry. This is a bummer but for the money it cost for these cartridges compared to cost of a Canon branded cartridge it's worth it in the end. So as long as you only plan on using regular printer paper you should be good to go!

Seems a WINNER.
I was concerned about the price Canon was charging for their laser printer replacement toner cartridges... something like $75!!...and came upon these which had good reviews. Now, I've only made a couple of copies, so far, but the quality seems to be about the same as with the "name-brand" ones. The listed price is about $30 for a "two-pack," which is very reasonable, I'd say. Not only that, but---at the time of purchase--there was a discount of something like $10, which SUPER "sweetened the deal!!"..so I grabbed me two of the packs. I suppose, while I'm here...I'll mention that I've gone with Samsung printers in the past, but--in recent history--their prices have gone through the roof, so I was concerned about finding a better choice...and this Canon one seems to "fill the bill!!" At least a REASONABLE price, and a performing CHAMP!! What's more, it has extra features, such as double-sided printing. ; )

So far, this has been a good alternative to Canon LP cartridges
I took a chance on this cheaper LP cartridge and I have been pleased with the results so far. I don't do a lot of printing and it took over a year to use the trial size that came with my printer. This one has performed well. Print quality seems similar to the Canon cartridge.Make sure that you remove all of the orange plastic tabs. There were more than I expected and it won't load if any are left on it.

Early review: print looks great, but not talking to printer
This was the first replacement cartridge since we bought our LDP6230dw printer, which recently ran out of toner. It came with no instructions for installation, but I quickly found a Canon webpage on the topic and followed that.Printing now looks very good. The bizarre thing is the printer continues to report "Out of toner" on my Mac and on other computers sharing this printer. I guess we now just live with this message. It'll be obvious when it's truly out of toner.I would have given this a 5-star if it communicated properly.
