It’s not hard to attach a plug or wire it up if you know what you’re doing.
But if you don’t know, then either don’t buy this or call an electrician.I haven’t cooked on it yet so this review is only about setup. I’ll try to remember to update it when I’ve cooked on it.Every person who is complaining about no plug must not have read the product description nor the Q&A. Every person blowing breakers or setting stuff on fire doesn’t understand electricity and is trying to do something stupid and dangerous. This unit does not come with a plug because it’s not a standard, underpowered, consumer-grade griddle that you can plug into a household outlet. No, it does not matter that the description says 110v and you know your outlets are 110v. You see, this is where understanding electricity comes in. See there in the description where it says 3,000 watts? Yeah this puppy draws a lot of juice, and no, plugging it into a 220v outlet is NOT the answer. It says right on the tin it is a 110v appliance! So how much juice? Well 3,000 watts / 110 volts = 27.3 amps. If you plug this into a household outlet, which is 15 amps, or possibly 20, then you are going to have problems, up to and including needing to build a new house upon the smoking ruins of your old house. So why would you buy this? Well, because 15amp griddles SUCK. They don’t get hot enough. You want an electric griddle that cooks like gas? This is what you need. However you need to be able to power it. You’ll need an electrician to put in a 30-amp circuit if you don’t have one. Many people will have this wired directly to a power source with no plug. Me? I’m using mine for camping. My coach doesn’t use propane, and electric campsites typically have a spare 30amp outlet available since my coach uses the 50amp outlet. So I bought a standard RV 30amp plug and connected it to this griddle. Easy peasy. Pictures for reference. This, along with a 75-ft 30amp extension cord, means I never need to worry about propane for my camp griddle again.PLEASE, if you don’t understand amps, watts, volts, hot, neutral, and ground then do not do what I have done. Call an electrician.**Update 11 June 2023: This thing is GREAT. Low and slow for bacon or piping hot for searing steaks. It does it all. I’m using the heck out of it. It takes a little longer to heat up than a gas griddle, but that’s to be expected I suppose. My two minor complaints are 1) the knobs are installed upside down. It’s really stupid and annoying, and 2) the knobs are marked in Celsius, even though this is sold in the US so I’m always having to look up the temperature conversion.

Total Garbage
Stupid me, I thought this was a griddle you could actually plug in and use. However, it isn't. There is no plug and I highly recommend that you stay away. When I went to return it, they sent me a label with no postage and the cost of returning it is about half of what it cost to buy it. These people know people are getting caught in this trap and they could conspicuously state that it is not compatible with basically every home in America, but they don't and then people who want to return it don't follow through because it costs so much to return it and the USPS won't take it because it is so heavy. That makes them, complete sleaze balls in my book. Amazon was just as bad, passing the buck at every point.

Awesome Griddle!
Bought this to replace are little easy bake electric griddle and stove top. If you like cooking on griddles and you want to go next level you will want this! It's all we cook on now. Its fun the food tast better it has a huge cooking surface area. Less pans to clean. Note; It's not plug and play ready. This is a heavy duty commercial restaurant grade griddle. You will have to purchase a 110 Volt 30 amp commercial rated plug and wire it up. I used one of the 110V legs that went to our stove top. This griddle works really well and for the price you can't beat it. Also note the dials are in Celsius wich is no big deal to get used to. My wife loves cooking on it. Everybody who comes over and sees it wants one. I don't understand why more home kitchen's dont have this set up. Also don't forget after getting it you will want to break it in and season it.

Does not work out of the box.
I purchased the 30in unit as a gift but it was too big and sat in storage. I finally got around to wiring the plug and testing it out. The power and heat lights never came on and there was no heat. It was plugged into a 5000 watt power converter. The converter is functional and runs other appliances. Also please note that 4400 watts at 110 volts is 40 amps. 220 volts would be more practical. Now it’s just taking up space in my garage. It is a waste of money.

Awesome Product
I love this flat top. I use it daily. The only issue I have seen is that you have to change out your breaker to a 30 amp to run both sides at the same time. 20 amp will run one side fine. Well worth what the price is.

Works great.
Love this thing.Couple negative issues, in description, says 220v, but if you read specs, 110v at30 amps so needs wiring and dedicated breaker , which I was expecting either way.Only major negative thing so far, so only 4 stars, is temp dials. When turned to zero, the power light stays on. Makes you double check to make sure turned off. Would be nice to actually have an off switch or if dial turned to zero, it disconnects power so power light doesn't stay on. Not sure if it would still turn on below 0deg Celsius, but my house ain't getting that cold.We have this in kitchen, next to stove. My favorite cooking appliance.Plenty of room and takes taco night to a whole 'nother level.Would definitely recommend.

Return shipping is on you
Looked Beautiful when it arrived, with some damage to the bottom sheet metal and side, which will not affect cooking. My wife and I were so excited to use this appliance but lastly, it did not function correctly, we added a plug and plugged it into 110 outlets. The unit would turn on and then immediately shut off. Never reached any cooking temperature. We are trying to return it for a refund. The company did reach out and try to rectify the situation but did not offer to pay shipping back.Update: just found out to return the non functional item due to dead on arrival we have to pay $150 shipping out of our pocket.Buyer beware your responsible for shipping cost even if is not your fault that it does not function or is damaged.

Received as a gift for Christmas! I love it! Have a big family, we can all sit down and eat together! Love I use it indoors for the outdoor experience. Any meal can be cooked on it. Fast easy clean up! Great product. If I had room I would have 2 in my kitchen!
