Comfortable, effective.
Works perfectly for Jiu-jitsu. Stays in place and no more sore knee from shooting take downs. I'm 5'10", 155lbs with a perfect fit.Tip: I've been washing it in the washer after each use (2-3x weekly) and seems to be holding up. I turn it inside out to protect the outer seams while in the washer. And hang dry it. It usually is dry in 24hrs by next use.

Worth the wait!
I train/study the wonderful art of Brazilian jiu jitsu. During the training, my knees can take a beating on the mats. But, with these knee pads, my knees are protected and supported. I've tried Scrap Life, McDavid, and Cliff Keen. Scrap Life is good, but these Cliff Keen pads are better. I can't speak for wrestlers, but if you're a grappler over the age of 50, like me, do your knees a favor a buy a pair of these knee pads.

Excellent for aikido practice
I have only been practicing aikido for about six months and I still have issues with the ukemis (falls) since most of the time instead of falling straight to my shoulder I tend put the knee first. This let me two ugly round scars in both of my knees and my knees themselves were beginning to resent all the falls and all the weight (we also spend a lot of time practicing on our knees, there are several defense techniches thar are done in this position). One day that I was doing nothing but ukemis and could not stand the pain, my boyfriend lent me his (He falls great but he does have a congenital and quite serious knee problem, thus suwari waza and hamni handachi kill him)and I saw heavenThey fit very well, they don't slip but they're not so tight either, they are incredibly confortable and do not impede your movements at all but every time you fall or sit you appreciate them a lot. They also cover the knee cap as a whole and it is very good for people recovering from knee surgery (A friend of mine had a surgery three months ago, bought the caps after seeing mine and she's already practicing).Just a comment: Each package brings only one knee pad so be alert. I truly recommend to buy a pair since you will definitely have an equilibrium distortion when sitting and all your weight will fall over the unprotected knee.

False ad
We did order a small, and it was too small for my daughter. The listing shows free returns, but we were changed the return shipping postage. That is not free returns. The second order does fit better and seems to be a good product.

The name is not worth it.
Jiu-jitsu coach here... Thought I would save my knees and spend the money for cliff keen. Totally not worth it.They take forever to arrive and they're fairly short, so they do not stay up well at all. The price for ONLY ONE of these knee pads is considerably more than a SET of Amazon off brands. Also washed them once and the CK emblem came off, so now I look like I'm wearing off brands anyway. Cliff Keen definitely didn't help my takedowns any better for sure. However all that said, after ordering the second to have a complete two-knee set... when they stay up and when they don't twist around the back of your knee, they work great for ground impact protection..OSS💪

Comfortable Knee Support
Been training bjj for over a year now and began developing a sore spot at the top of my shin. Training was becoming increasingly painful until I invested in this product. I highly recommend it, but there is only one knee wrap per order.

Saved my knees from getting banged up in BJJ
I bought these for BJJ to prevent mat burn and save my knees from long term damage. They fit pretty well but sometimes slide down but that's a bit expected. I got the medium size and I have skinny legs. When they're sweaty they are a little hard to get off but it's hard to find that happy medium of staying put but also easy to take off. It's been about a month and I've washed them in the washer and air dried them after every use and they have held together fine so far. Time will tell if they last.Edit: It's been about 7 months and they are still holding up great. Debating if I should get another pair for when the others are in the wash or if I should get something lower profile.
