Halo SleepSack a must-have
I cannot recommend the Halo SleepSack enough. I have been using them on my son since we brought him home from the hospital in August 2012. I began with the Halo SleepSack Swaddle and over the last 2 months he has transitioned to the Halo SleepSack wearable blanket. I love this microfleece blanket. It keeps him warm but the fleece is not excessively heavy. He wears this sleep sack when he naps and when he goes to sleep at night and I dress him in only a long sleeve onesie under the blanket to avoid him getting too hot. He is free to move around under the blanket which is a definite plus because he moves his legs a lot and rolls on his side to sleep. I feel great that he has this blanket in his crib with him but yet he's safe and I don't have to worry about the blanket going over his face. This particular blanket I also enjoy because the cream color is very attractive and it is gender neutral. The fleece is very soft and it is holding up well during washing. My son is about 27.5" and 19.5#. He fits in this medium SleepSack well and I bet I'll get ~4 months of use out of it (5-9 months old).

Helps mom and baby sleep better
I love the Sleepsack wearable blanket! I've used it for my son since he was about 2 months old, maybe even earlier. He is now 6 months. Also, my sister has been using these for her baby since he was born, and he's about two years old now and she's still just as in love with them as ever. Probably its greatest perk for me is that it's safe. Because my baby is wearing the blanket, he's not gonna kick it or pull it over his face, and my baby is a mover! He's always ending up in the corners of his crib facing different directions, so blankets would get thrown everywhere with him, so it's a big deal to me to not have to worry about him smothering. Also, I have the security of knowing he will stay warm all through the night. He's not gonna lose his covers, so I don't feel the need to go check on him in the middle of the night to make sure he's covered up. Also, it seems to wash out really well. Babies are very messy, but the spit up and baby food seems to wash out just fine in the washing machine! Overall, I think it's a fantastic product. I can't think of a thing I don't like about it. While it is a bit pricey to have to buy a new blanket for your baby as they grow, it's worth it to me considering the warmth and safety the sleepsack provides. Plus, if you have a little baby that needs swaddling, you can get the swaddle version.IF YOU'RE NEEDING A SIZE GUIDE....go to Halo's website. I think it's called Halo Innovations. In their store section at the bottom of a product page you can find a size guide to know what size will be best for your baby.

Works just as it should.
We bought this for our son because even when we run the heater in this apartment, the chill settles back on the air as soon as the thing shuts off. High ceiling are pretty - but not so great for holding heat! At any rate, we don't much like keeping lose blankets in the bed with him and layering the clothes on him only works well until he's in need of a diaper change. The sleep sack zips up from the bottom which makes diaper changes SO much easier! It's also just heavy enough weight that if you put it on over a long-sleeve onesie and a pair of socks, the baby is perfectly toasty. The fabric is soft right out of the package, but after a few washings it's just really quite nice. No pilling and no faulty zipper...We'll be buying another one soon, for sure.

A Great Way to Keep Your Little Ones Warm
I have several Halo sleepsacks in different styles (fleece, cotton), and have used the heck out of all of them. I was absolutely thrilled when the hospital gave us one in our "take home bag" after I had my daughter last year. The sleepsacks offer a safer alternative to blankets for babies, and since I live in a colder climate, there are plenty of nights I felt like my kids could use the extra warmth. Neither one of my kids liked to be swaddled, and they fought their way out of those wraps. It was great to have something to use even when they were very little.I've used several for both of my kids, and they wear well and wash well. And the sizes do allow room to grow, so I think the price is pretty fair for how long they can be worn. I often buy these as gifts for friends who have children because they really were one of my "go-to" products with both of my kids.

HALO is the best - no choking hazards!
I love this sleep sack for cold winter nights. I had another brand of fleece sleep sack but I was not comfortable using it because my baby pulls his pajamas or sleep sack into this mouth and chews on it if he is awake in his crib. He pulls whatever cloth is closest to his mouth. The other sleep sack had a zipper that zipped up toward the neck. It had a little flap to cover it but I was still afraid that my baby would chew it and the zipper pull would come off into his mouth and he would choke on it. HALO sleep sacks zip from the top down so the zipper pull is nowhere near your baby's mouth. With my first son I always wondered why they did this. Now with my second baby I clearly see the benefit. I can seriously rest easily at night knowing that there is not a choking hazard in my baby's crib. This fleece sleep sack is also nice and warm in the winter without overheating my baby.

Great sleepsack!
I love these sleep sacks. They are soft and my son sleeps well in them so I assume they're comfortable. They are well made and hold up well - we use one every night and wash/dry frequently. I wash them in a regular cycle and dry on medium. I don't change his diaper while he's in the sleep sack (learned that one the hard way!) but I do like that the zipper zips from the bottom: it's easier to get on and off and he can't chew on the pull tab. Even though there are less expensive options, I will continue to buy Halo brand - the quality is consistently good and the fit/sizing works for us.Medium sleep sack measures:29 1/2 inches shoulder to bottom21 inches across the bottom13 inches across the chestarm openings are 3 3/4 inches
