Simpatico Low Acid Coffee - Regular - Organic Dark - Whole Bean (2 pound bag)

I've been drinking this coffee solely for the last year now and it is absolutely my favorite coffee ever. I'm undoubtedly a coffee snob....it has to be organic, it has to be fresh, it has to smell a certain way when I grind the beans, it has to be low acid for my sensitive tummy, it has to have a bold yet smooth flavor.....yes, I'm a tough customer! I am ridiculously pleased to say that this coffee checks ALL of those boxes. I have weeded through so many different coffees in the past I couldn't count them all and was less than satisfied each purchase. In my pursuit, I refused to give up my hope in finding the perfect coffee for me. Well, the search is over. This coffee is superb. 👍 It even made a coffee addict out of my husband who was "meh" to coffee before I started buying it. Now he wants his morning cup right along with me. If you are looking for a bold, smooth, organic, low acid coffee full of flavor and joy....Simpatico's got you! ☕️ 💘

This is now my go-to bean for my morning brew. I grind it on a medium-coarse setting (4 out of 6 on my grinder), do pour-over with a very-aggressive 1-to-10 ratio (34 grams of coffee to 340 grams of water -- 4 not-quite-to-the-top coffee measures of beans, the right "fill" happens naturally as you tilt the coffee measure into the canister holding the beans and scoop before depositing in the top of the grinder in one not-so-fluent [I'm kinda a klutz] motion, to my 12-ounce cup of water that I dump in the kettle ... I am bleary-eyed but moving quickly in the morning, measuring nothing, it all just happens). I could use less coffee with a finer grind probably, but I like the extraction speed this grind gives me. While the water comes to a boil I put just a little milk in the bottom of the mug that I used to measure the water and put it in the microwave for a few seconds, which heats both the milk and the bottom part of the mug, then take the water off-the-boil for a moment and two pours (no time for the drama of three pours), one outside-in to wet the grinds, and then the real pour inside-out and wait for it.Stir, and for me, this is absolute perfection for the morning. Smooth, low acid, a decent taste of dark-roast without being overly espresso-like.I have tried other low-acid beans but have never achieved a worthwhile cup. I will be re-ordering often!I ordered pH calibration liquids and will re-calibrate my pro pH meter soon ... and will report back on the actual pH of my extraction.

I love that this is organic, dark roast and low acid. But I've tried quite a few coffees that are organic and low acid that say they are dark roast, but they don't taste rich enough for me. This one is absolutely delicious! I have ordered it several times.

Flavor seems weak, maybe bland?

I’ve been using Simpatico coffee for the last several years, since I was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis. I was warned I may need to give up coffee, but with the low acid of these beans, I’m able to enjoy my favorite beverage without sacrificing flavor. I’ve had excellent service and my parents lived in the town where the company is located so I had the opportunity to order a latte in their store. Love this product.

This is a low acid coffee that does not bother my stomach like other coffees and tastes good also!

We enjoy the quality of this coffee and the value of it coming “whole bean” in a large package. Hope to be able to continue to buy this product in the future!

I was hoping this would be good, based on reviews. Wrong. It leaves a very metallic/burnt taste in my mouth. I just wish I could return it. Will not buy again.
