Sturdy and comfortable.
The kayak seat replaces one I’ve had (and abused) for years. It is light, yet very strong to comfortably and steadily hold my body weight on my kayak during all movements.

Replacement seat
My old seat broke, and I needed a replacement seat for my kayak. This worked perfectly.

Exact match for my Outlaw 11.5
Had to replace the seat because of one particular thing on the chair. It is the bracket where the chair folds down. I had the chair for 4 years and probably could of gotten another year or two out of it if I could replace the brackets on the side. Couldn't find any exact matches online I wish perception had Parts like that. All other metal used on the chair was in good condition the bolts weren't rusted the material was faded from the Sun but that was okay. I do use this in salt water and always rinse it off with fresh water. For the new one I added a spray of clear acrylic for protection and hopefully it'll last longer.

proper replacement
it is not ideal for my perception pilot 12 but it is comfortable. i can sit all day without issue.

Didn't hold my weight of 250 lbs
It broke the first time I sat in it. Very disappointed, I don't know if I just got a defective one, but if you get one, treat it like a fragile flower just in case.
