If you don't need to run a lot of cables or have thick cables run, this will work great. I have mine running in front of my sliding glass door with a single cat 6 Ethernet cable running in it. The space for cables isn't very deep, and you can't run more than 1 or 2 regular gauge cables inside the cavity for it. If you have something like a lamp cord or even an extension cable, that'd probably be the only thing you'll be able to fit inside the cable guide.I'm in a wheelchair, and this helps protect the cables from getting destroyed by me rolling over them with my tires. It's also not too tall so going over it isn't too hard either. It's not easy, but it's not like a huge speed bump either. Simple set up, just unroll it, throw it under the sun for 30 minutes so it softens up and gets pliable,and then place it wherever you want it to go. Very easy.It's cheap, works well if you don't have a lot of cables to hide, and isn't a huge bump to walk or roll over. Very cool cable guide.

Good product and simple enough

Bought this to go over cords on carpet, works perfectly!! I needed low profile to roll my baby's bassinet over it, it's barely a bump!! You will need to flatten it for a few days. I unrolled it, slid in upside down under my couch so we wouldn't trip on it while it flattened. It cuts with very sturdy utility scissors, I didn't have a utility knife to use.

I only run a single coax cable through these but they work great for it. My door opens over the strip cleanly and I never trip over it. Per another review, I cut the lengths I needed off the coil and put those strips in the dryer for five minutes or so to help un-bend them. I don't know that it was really necessary but I did it anyway and they've been lying flat for two months now. I suppose for extra security one could use adhesive velcro on their backside and the underlying floor, but I've felt no need. The rubber material of the strip pressed against my hardwood floor provides enough friction to keep them in place and they are flat enough that I never kick them anyway. They smell a little like rubber if you put your nose within six inches, but it's only like being transported back to your 16-year old self stepping into Foot Locker at the local mall. It ain't bad, and it doesn't last, and the reviewers claiming it smells bad or chemically are probably also afraid of microwaves. This thing worked for what I wanted it to do.

Durable and did the job, but smells bad. I put double-sided tape under it to adhere to tile floor. A little stiff, hard to keep flat without the tape.

We purchased this to cover up a Ethernet cord that we had to run across the floor at the entrance of our kitchen. It has a groove on the bottom that hold the cord in place. It is shipped rolled up but we just stretched it out and laid it between our mattress over night as another reviewer suggested and it flattened out perfectly. You could also place it in the sun for a bit for the same result. The rubber keeps it from sliding around but we placed some double sided tape on the bottom just to keep it from moving at all. We hardly even notice it when walking into the kitchen and much safer than having a cord just laying there ready to trip us up. It was also easy to cut. It was longer than we needed but we were able to cut it within minutes with a box cutter. Excellent product- highly recommend.

We like to put our Christmas tree in the middle of our room but I really didn’t like seeing the cords and was worried the kids could trip so we got this to cover the wires and it has been the perfect solution. It blends in to our dark wood floors so it’s not an eye sore. Can fit multiple cords. The quality is very well made. Highly recommend
