My go-to eraser
I love it! This is currently the only eraser I use.EraserThe eraser inside is not too big, which allows erasing of small writing or lettering very easy. However on the flip side, it doesn't allow for heavy duty erasing as you would need on a large piece of paper (ex: poster board). The eraser is white, so it doesn't leave any strange marks as would a cheap 99cent eraser. The spot is clean and it does what it's supposed to do.Another thing about that eraser is that you can easily find replacements for it. They sell packs of these refill erasers just by itself. This way, you can keep the pen and just replace the inside eraser. The eraser can easily be taken out and placed back inside for easy access.RetractabilityThis eraser allows you to adjust the amount of eraser that you want out. However, it's best not to retract the eraser out too much because I found that it can break off pieces if too much is pulled out at once. If pulled out too much, it is flimsy when erasing. The shape of the pen that surrounds it give it that stability. Therefore, you just want to retract it just enough to get the job done.Pen-shapedI love that it's pen shaped. When erasing, it makes it seem like you are holding just a regular pen with the nice added rubber grip at the tip. I find that it makes it so much easier to erase than those typical erasers. There's much more stability and control when dealing with a pen shaped eraser.Overall, I really liked my purchase. It's quite useful if you are using pencils often. Its very easy to use. They have quite a few inside this package, so it will last. I am still using it although I bought it several years ago. They also have various colors, which is cool too.

Great Product, but weak pocket clip
These things are wonderful, and for the price, they are as cheap as the refills. They provide more accurate erasing than a rectangular prism shaped eraser, and fit in my pocket. I like the tactile feel of them, and underneath the rubber grip is a little piece of plastic that bends inward somewhat, preventing the eraser from being pushed back into the barrel (this was obvious on the old ones, the ZE20, I think, that didn't have rubber over this little feature, but the rubber grip is nice). The only complaint I have is about the plastic pocket clip, which I tend to break. It doesn't break all the way loose, but where it does break allows it to rotate in a plane along the edge of the body of the eraser, which I find very annoying. On the other hand, on the most recent one, I removed the pocket clip entirely, and then I just use a mechanical pencil to click it out. Without the pocket clip (which moves down with the eraser itself), there's no need to retract the eraser more than a single click when not in use.All-in-all, a great purchase, and I recommend it to anyone who uses pencils on a regular basis.

Great item
I love these clicky erasers. I have used them at least since high school (over 10 years ago). Starting back in grad school this past semester, I couldn't find all my old clicky erasers. This box was a great price. Wonderful eraser type, great for school/work, lasts forever (just replace the actual eraser after it is used). I literally have had several for over 10 years and they continue to work. I have one click eraser in each of multiple bags and pencil boxes now, so I am set for school eraser-wise. I agree with the other poster--they are much harder to find than they used to be. I live in Chicago now, so buy most of my in person school supplies at the grocery or drug store, I'm not even sure where the closest office supply store is (or if there would be parking there--I live in a part of Chicago in which the public transport is not that convenient). The easiest place for me to find these was on Amazon.

Good value and investment.
Better value here than at the store. The box of 12 are difficult to find. With this box I don't think I will buy replacements in decades. These pens eventually break from the clip with repeated uses but only after years of heavy use. It's a good investment if you like these clic eraser pens.

Decent erasers, but click notches are too far apart
I've used these for drawing for many years, as the erasing-complement to Pentel's "Super Hi-Polymer" pencil lead. The two flaws I see are:1) The erasers are just a little too soft, collecting more black on their surface than letting it roll-off. This causes much more smudging. I will say they are better than the Staedtler stick eraser in this respect, but, ironically, both are inferior to a batch of no-name "dollar store" click erasers I bought in a pinch. In fact, I'm writing this review because those are all used up and I've returned to these Pentels.2) The fatal flaw for this eraser is that the clicks are too far apart. Why does this matter? Because when too much eraser hangs off the end, every hour or two a 1/4-inch hunk of it will break off. This is where the Staedtler stick is better, having smaller click intervals. Interestingly, the "dollar store" ones never had this tip "break-off" issue, even though they had a completely unusable click system (needed rubber bands to keep tongue in the click track). I believe this is simply because they were harder than either the Pentel or Staedtler.Incidentally, I love the Pentel Block erasers- neither of the above problems with them.

I love these erasers!
Pentel makes the only erasers (that I know of) that last for years without hardening (like pink pencil erasers) or getting gummy or greasy (like my mechanical pencils). I keep them at my desk, in the kitchen, at work, etc. I sometimes use them for cleaning electrical switch or battery contacts, too. Tip: If you pull off the rubber finger grip, you can see that there's a tab that you can squeeze to keep the eraser from pushing back inside the body while you're erasing.

Valuable Work Device
I purchased one of these a while back from the store. Someone at my job asked to borrow it and I haven't seen it since. So when I saw these on your site, and in bulk no less, I HAD to get them. I like the convenience of using an eraser that I can hold like a pen/pencil. That grip factor is phenomenal!
