I was so impressed not only at the freshness and superior flavor, but also the good value compared to the whole nutmeg in the little jars at the grocery...when you can find them. Fresh ground nutmeg tastes nothing like ground nutmeg up in a little jar. Nothing. Thank you to the vendor for providing quality at a decent price!!!

I must admit, I am not sure I like nutmeg. I'm still thinking on it. However, that doesn't change the fact that I can taste quality, freshness, and such. And, these are... perfect, in all ways nutmeg should be.I am still exploring the flavor. It's potent. So, I'm shaving a little less, adjusting by volumes, and such. I... so want to love this stuff. And... it very much wants to please. We are working on it. Good luck in your culinary adventures.

I was very pleased with this purchase. The amount sent was just enough to completely refill my spice jar that I had finally emptied.

The quantity of whole nutmeg pods is not as pictured in the item description and is not generally reported by other customers. I received only 8 whole nutmeg pods in my package — not 15 whole nutmeg pods as pictured in the product description and definitely not 12 whole nutmeg pods as reported by other customers. I DO NOT see the value received for this product as the quantity is far less than expected.
