The KONGCozie King Lion is a plush dog toy designed for medium dogs, featuring minimal filling for less mess and an enticing squeaker to encourage play. With an extra layer of material for added strength, this toy is perfect for indoor cuddles, though it's not intended for heavy chewing. Sturdy
My dog , Stanley, loves his Blue. He beats them up and wrestles with them several times a day.

Ivy Loves Her Lion!
My puppy loves her lion! It looks to be made very well. It has some weight to it and won't rip apart when tossed around or gnawed on. It's a very well-manufactured dog toy that will last.

Good toy, not for chewing
As it says in the description "Not for chew sessions", anyone who has a dog that loves to chew on things than of course it is going to get destroyed in a few hours (or less). Watch your dog and remove the toy if he/she is about to tear it to shreds. That being said, we've had this for a month - our lab mix puppy has only chewed the tail off and there are some holes in the ears but nothing serious. He has NOT been able to puncture through the abdomen or the legs which is great! Unlike a duck toy which he completely destroyed within two days this toy is worth it.I suggest picking up toys and switching them out - as many people do. That way the toys last longer and they don't get bored with it (or obsessed with it and chew it to pieces) I keep about 3 toys out at any given time and the rest are put away for later. One squishy toy, a Nylabone is always left out for him and one of his KONG Traxx Tire, Dental Dog Toy, or Activity Toy(all three Kong) which we interchange, fill with healthy treats and freeze for him to keep occupied should we leave the house or he is in a chewy mode. If Blake gets too aggressive/chewy with his squishy/plush toy than we take it away and give him one of his actually chew toys instead because we want the toy to last - another reason why we don't leave it out all day for him to play with and destroy.I hope this review has helped anyone who comes to read it and thinks about purchasing this toy and the other plush KONG's similar to it. I love this toy and so does my 6month lab/mix puppy. He would tell you himself but he's too busy sleeping after a hard day of training and playing in the water!

Very cute, small and soft lion
My Sprinkles loved her teal blue and pink lion. She finally tore the ear off after playing with it for about a year, so we replaced it, with the same kind and called it Leo 2.0.I have French Bulldog and she plays with it like it was her friend. She’s a chewer as well, but it lasted. I also bought her a few others, but the lion was her favorite.

Alive and intact after 1 year!
UPDATE 1/10/2018: This guy has made it ONE WHOLE YEAR fully intact. I wish there was a secret 6-star rating for this amazing toy. The dogs actually play with it and they haven't destroyed it. I'm REALLY impressed!Well this guy has passed the 24-hour test at my house. With 3 dogs, 2 being aggressive chewers who LOVE fuzzy stuffed toys, I don't expect anything to last more than a day. And when it does, I feel pretty good about the quality of the product! Previous to this guy the only thing to last this long was the Kong Wubba Friends (they don't care about it if it doesn't have fur), but those are so expensive, so I thought I would try something different. I purchased the Kong Cozie Lion and the Kong Beaver stuffing-less toy at the same time. Poor Mr. Beaver didn't last 5 minutes. He was gutted on the floor almost immediately. And it's not that they loved Beaver more than Lion - they both got equal attention. The Cozie toys are just durable. He has an extra layer of what feels almost like ballistic material underneath his fur, and that helps him hold up to the biting and puncture wounds. Ultimately his downfall will be the removal of a leg, and then the un-stuffing game begins. But I have to give him 5 stars for lasting a day in my house!

Fun for puppy
This toy is loved by my granddog!! I buy them often for her because she can destroy them within a few weeks. But she loves them!

Good toy for destructive puppy
Really like how this is holding up to the hard chewing play and tug a war play my 6 month old puppy is giving it. Other toys I have had to repair or throw away. It’s very durable.

Gone too soon
This toy only lasted 2 weeks. The furry mane was gone day one. The rest was destroyed soon after. It was cute while it lasted.

It is smaller than it looks
Cute puppy toy but I thought it would be bigger.

Too expensive and not very large
We didn't get much of a lifespan out this toy, the pink fuzzy fur on the top was pulled out within a week. I found this toy very expensive for the size of it.

This product is not as tough as some may think
This toy is soft and stuffed with fluff. My dog absolutely enjoyed it, but it did not last more than a day. Being a Kong toy, some people may think its durable, but in reality it's just another stuffed squeeky toy. You can find cheaper options online for similar products. For this price point, there are tougher products available elsewhere if that is your goal. I did like that this was a very soft stuffed animal which is fun for my dog to rip apart.
