Nicky Bigs Novelties Giant Rubber Toad Prop Statue - Fake Frog Animal Decoration, Multi, 10 Inches Long

I am going on vacation and we will be stopping at the house/park where my favorite killer animal movie Frogs! was filmed. I need a large frog and this one is it! He is big, sturdy and fabulous feeling. He is gonna photograph beautifully in the park and on the porch. Definitely worth the cost. We love him and have named him Jessie.

This is a great toad -- lifelike, big and sturdy, the eyes realisitic. But here's the thing: if left near or in rainstorms the rubber skin will peal off. Maybe I can glue it back on before the "skin" falls off.

I got this toad as a prop to demonstrate a teaching point in a course that I teach. It's PERFECT and my students love it. High quality materials, doesn't have a smell, doesn't make annoying noises like a real toad. Just sits there in my closet ready to entertain the next group of students when the time is right. This is my go-to rubber toad and I think it should be yours as well. In the world of rubber toads, this is the real deal and top of the line! (Ribbet!)

I didn't notice in the description that this garden ornament was made out of foam rubber. I doubt it will last through two summers. But he is lovely, warty and realistically painted. Very creepy and heavy enough to play Toad Ball with.

Rubber toads have gone up from $10 to $30 over the past few years! What's up with that? Plus this latest one has a different feel to the skin and a slightly different appearance too. Maybe not quite as real looking of a giant toad as the previous rendition. I almost bought 100 of them when they were $10 and I wish I had. I was going to apply them all over the surface of my car but I dunno, the plan never materialized for some reason. Maybe because people tend to confuse this toad with Pepe the Frog who in case you don't know is a flashpoint for controversy and likely to result in you getting your house burned down if you're not careful. I keep saying NO it's a TOAD not a frog, that's why it has all those warts on it instead of being slick & slippery like the evil Pepe. In any case, this toad is a class act, a toad's toad, a toad amongst tadpoles. When you unwrap him and feel the lumpiness of his hide you will sense that you're in the presence of a being who is greater than yourself.

My GS had one purchased from a craft store. He is so fond of all animals and this toad was his favorite. His new puppy, had destroyed his toad and he was devastated . I got lucky and found it here just by describing it. Identical!!!’ It was a bit pricey but, it was the only one I found, and only one left! Great Xmas gift!!! Well worth it to see his excitement!!! Not disappointed. Very big and as I stated, exactly as pictured and described.

The colors to the frog are realistic and I love the size it’s perfect for my Halloween indoor decorations collection. Just waiting for my daughter to wake up from her nap to see if the frog will frighten her.

Listen… sometimes you get seized by a flight of whimsy and want to buy the largest fake toad you can find. This one is very nice - really pleasingly large, with realistic sculpted details. The paint job is a little streaky and you can see a few seams where different parts of him were put together but he’s charming anyway. Recommend for all your giant fake toad needs.
