This thing is freakin bright!
I own a streamlight supertac IR, ATN supernova, and a few other no name IR torches. I even picked up a cyclops focusable laser illuminator. The streamlight and ATN are good for about 200 yards. Problem is the treeline at my place is about 400. This light handles that no problem. The furthest stretch I've measured with my ATN ABL is about 550 yards, and this thing had it lit up pretty good when I tightened up the focus. THe only issue I had with this light is it's freakin HUGE. The glass in it is actual glass and could probably double as a deep sea submersible windshield. Needless to say it's a touch heavy, however the rifle it lives on has an atn xsight 4k which is about the equivalent of strapping a geo metro to your rifle anyhow so whats another 10 lbs eh? Probably not something you want to lug around and stalk with but great for a tripod or blind gun. I have the size below this one too with the 940 pill and it's bright as fu...riady morning too. I mean I've seen people put it up against the coyote cannon and lift their pinky up as they proclaim the coyote cannon the marginally brighter light. Dude that light is almost 10 times the price of this one.TLDR: Bright light, bit heavy, big bank for buck

Pretty bright
The media could not be loaded. Just got it, so I haven't had a chance to hunt or see how it looks through my Sightmark, but you can really tell the difference seeing it in the NVG. It is much larger than the illuminator that came with the Wraith. Feels well built. I will update when I have had a chance to hunt with it.UPDATE. Used this illuminator on a Texas hog hunt. Lit up the entire area no problem. Very happy with this purchase.

Extremely Satisfied
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it! He says that for the cost it was a deal! It’s so small and compact it doesn’t get in the way of anything and it stays charged for a good while. Such a good price

Almost a winner
Very impressed with the range and brightness of the light, however used it twice and on third hunt light wouldn’t work.

Perfect for coyote hunts
This works great! My husband is a big hunter especially coyotes at night. It works great for him. I have also used as well in the backyard when a coyote was messing with my chickens. I’m planning on buying one for myself just for scoping out my yard

Great for the price
850 nm ir. Works great. The glass might not be the same quality as top illuminators but this thing reaches out pretty good. A little tricky I found that works is to turn the lens backwards. It sounds counter intuitive but do it...you can thank me later. If you're hunting 300 yards out you might want a better unit but up to 300 id say this works great. Good value for the money. It's a clear light and has a manual zoom or flood.

Short term review
To start with, it’s huge. I have both HD versions of the Sightmark wraith, it’s nearly as big as the scope and weighs a ton. Second thing, it’s like Sauron’s EYE! Seriously, this thing is insanely bright on its highest setting. It’s so bright that I can clearly see much farther and see much better details through my HD wraiths. Significantly better than the stock illuminator that comes with the wraiths. For reference, I’m viewing deer at 200 yards and instead of fuzzy blobs with the stock illuminator, I can clearly distinguish the antlers of each deer. It comes with a very nice rechargeable 18650 battery.

Works but has some issues.
I bought this to use with digital night vision devices. I chose this unit because the zoomable, dimmable light allows you to select what you want to illuminate, while avoiding "whiting out" the target with excessive brightness or creating a photonic barrier by spilling the beam onto objects in front of your target. The light works, but is poorly executed in a number of ways that I'll list below.Pros:The lens doesn't twist easily and shouldn't move much under recoil as a weapon mounted light. The shroud around the lense blocks extra light from escaping from outside the beam pattern. The narrow part of the body fits common 1" mounts well. The light can charge a battery internally via the port on the tail cap.Cons:The head takes a lot of rotation to go from floop to spot. Mine is also quiet hard to twist and might be difficult from a poor angle, when wet, or when or with gloved hands. Furthermore, the lens can go past spot and start blooming out in an inferior flood patterns if you unscrew it past the max spot focus. The light also won't turn on if you screw the lense all the way to flood. The lens shroud also comes unscrewed if you accidently hold it instead of the bezel. This is a problem because the shroud is all that holds the lense in.The tailcap is designed for the proprietary charger/tape switch port, which makes it longer and wider. The connector is microUSB, which tend to go bad quickly, especially if bumped while plugged in. I don't expect this would last long with the tape switch because the plug sticks out at a right angle from the body. The dimmer dial spins freely, so I end up doing an extra turn to verify if I'm at max or min output. It also doesn't dim the light as much as I would like.Summary:The light has some nice features with internal charging and the shrouded lense, but I have found a different offering that, while losing those features, fixes all the problems that I have with this unit. In balance, I much prefer that unit and will be seeking a return for this one.
