Yes you read that correctly. I don't use them that often but the fact that they are not dried out and/or moldy is pretty astonishing. I was surprised to learn they are still making them- and can only wonder if these will last even half that long. Fun find though, and all the same colors too! The colors are vibrant and the felt tip is med-fine and keeps a point.

To say I am a pen enthusiast is an understatement. To say I obsessively watched almost every JetPen video on YouTube is accurate. So, when pen fanatics report these to be better than flair pens, and are they right? Yes. They write smoother, feel better in your hand, don't leave uneven splotches of color at the beginning/end of letters, and have more pigment in the ink. That said, are they so much better that they are worth the extra cost, especially for the average casual pen user? Probably not. Also depending on your project, these don't really come in near the variety of colors, unless you go to the "brush" style tip, which is not what most "flair pen" users are looking for.
