Westinghouse 7221500 Alloy Ceiling Fan, 42 Inch, Gun Metal

We had space constraints so a small fan was a must. This one fit perfectly and looks great in our new modernish blue and grey kitchen.The electrician said it was a pain to put together, lots of little screws etc.I didn't have to do that part so all I can say is it looks great up, provides a nice breeze and is fairly quiet. Plenty of light from the fixture as well.

Very nice product. Please understand that a 42" with only 3 blades is for a small room, so you cannot expect a huge airflow. That you will get from a 55" 5 blade fan.It is well made and it has a contemporary look. In my opinion is nicer than anything I found at the local stores even for twice the money.Like most fans today, it comes with a LED light (only 2 bulbs of 60 watts equivalency) so again, it is made for a small room. so if you need more light, you may want to change the bulbs.The noise that some complain comes from the angle of the blades cutting through the air and not from the motor.

I'm a licensed electrical contractor with 40 years experience. That aside, these fans are easy to install. Unfortunately, the canopy does not allow for a remote control kit, nor are the included Westinghouse t7 LED bulbs dimmable; hence, my lower value rating. On a positive note, they look great and are quite, i.e. no humming. I'd buy them again if my clients don't want to dim the bulbs.

Very easy to install and all of the settings work as expected. I've purchased other off-brand (questionably labeled and packaged) fans here on Amazon in the very recent past, and due to their poor quality and functionality, I was inspired to be a bit more discerning with my next purchase. Westinghouse is a solid brand with a solid reputation, and I was not disappointed at all with the product. I got this for my son's room, and he loves it. It's easy to adjust the fan settings and the light settings. I only regret not getting similar fans for my other rooms. Lesson learned.

Excellent value! I purchased 4 of them and on the 31st day, I unpacked them to install them and discovered one came with a broken glass shade. I tried to call and was told I only 30 days to return it! I can't find the part number to butly the glass shade and it's been frustrating to say the least. The other three we installed were perfect, stable and noise free.

Works, looks nice. There is a definite hum while on. Air movement is barely acceptable

I recommend this fan 100% . For average to small sized rooms these fans look solid and are very reliable.Ceiling fan installation isn't fun *see michelangelo sistine chapel* but this is a relatively doable project for anyone with a screwdriver, wire cutters and some elbow grease. Nothing about this fan is tricky or hard to figure out.I've bought this fan four times and would not hesitate to do it again.

So sleek. Install was a breeze. I bought 4 of theese fans for our new house and i absolutely love them! Before purchasing i had read a few reviews that said the fan motor is loud so i was a bit nervous but none of the four that we bought are loud. So quiet in fact at first i had a hard time turning the fans off because i cant hear the motor 😆 the light they emit is perfect also. Not to harsh and not to subtle.
