Felco Pruning Shears (F 15) - High Performance Swiss Made One-Hand Garden Pruner with Steel Blade

These are fine quality pruners, and are intended for smaller hands. Apparently I have extra-small hands, because I couldn't comfortably reach the swiveling portion of the handle. I had to return them, and then ordered the Felco 14, which lacks the swiveling feature but fits my hand perfectly.

I love the ergonomic handle and absolute precision that went into the design and manufacture of this tool and highly recommend it. There's the old adage "you get what you pay for" meaning that you pay a bit extra and get a tool for life.

My arborist neighbor told me to get Felcos after I complained of tingling in my hands using my Corona pruners. I got these b/c I have smallish hands. The ergonomic grip rotates as you squeeze, minimizing strain, which is great, but it makes these a little trickier to hold. I'm getting used to them and consider the awkward feeling a worthwhile concession, because I'm developing a little osteoarthritis in my hands. Their cutting power is incredible. They snip without a hard, jarring movement and very little effort. The other important feature is that Felcos include replacement parts. Although I used my Felco sharpening stone on my Corona pruners and loppers, there came a time when it would have been good to buy a new blade, but Corona doesn't offer replacement parts. Felco's higher price, then, saves me money over time when I can replace a part without having to buy a new pair. It's also an environmentally smart idea, keeping what works and replacing the small part that doesn't, for less waste. Do your hands, pocketbook, and planet a favor and don't skimp. It's a huge value in the long run.

I love the brand! I love the ease required to operate the clippers. I like how it stores easily in my garden tote. This one is my favorite model. Great fit for small hands and also very light weight.

Felco makes a high quality product. In my opinion, they make the best pruner available. Different sizes for smaller hands, special applications. If you prune a lot, you want them.

My dad has had his Felco pruners for 50 years so I finally got myself some. I sized at a medium but they were too big so I gave them to my son and got a small which is perfect. I think most women with average sized hands would also need small. Anyway, they are sharp, fast and comfy.

Felco makes wonderful products but the rotating handle is a true game changer. Best tool I own.
