Excellent for low intermediate players like me. Only played two so far bu very pleased with arrangements.

The music is great- no issues with it not matching up to the original songs. It would be appropriate for an intermediate level pianist.

I thought this book was too good to be true, I was right. It’s an incredible collection of Tom Petty songs but I wanted guitar tabs to help decipher all the different layers here, but I didn’t read the description well enough, you’ll get nothing more than piano/vocal/chord blocks. It’s no fault of the book but I can’t give it 5 stars without detailed guitar parts, which is why I imagine most people are looking at this book. If you are just looking to strum some basic Petty songs this will work just fine, but be prepared to grab a pencil to transpose some songs into a guitar friendly key, chords are not written with a capo’d guitar in mind.

Loved it, easy to read and play!

My preference for piano books is that the accompaniment does not play the vocal line, so you have a more interesting accompaniment. This book has the piano mainly playing the vocal line, and only includes lead vocals (no backup vocals written). If that's what you're looking for, this book does a good job.

Liked it. Prefer with tabs tho. And does NOT include many hits, like Honey bee.
