Excellent Product.
I am very pleased with this product. It is quite high. I am 5'3'' and can use it comfortably. The seat just rests securely on the lidless toilet as pictured. It is pretty secure and does not slide at all. It is easy to take off and on, easy to clean... I have nothing bad to say about this seat. If you need a raised toilet seat, this is pretty darn good.

Perfect Tool after Hip Replacement Surgery
This was the perfect choice to use as I recovered from hip replacement surgery. It's easy to use and clean and was literally my favorite piece of equipment I used after my surgery. I was surprised at how reluctant I was to ween myself off of it!

Works well
I had to use this riser after knee surgery and it fit my older round commode. It is easy to attach and east to remove to clean. It is a little high for a short person but ir would work well for anyone over five and a half feet tall.

100% satisfied. The perfect raised seat!
This saved my bum knee from having to bend so much every time I used the bathroom. I read several reviews and this sounded like the best available. I have been completely, 100% satisfied. For me the seat has been stable. It is easy to remove for company and is easy to clean/sanitize.

We measured my round toilet at home, but when received it didn't fit into my toilet and I had to buy the commode from the hospital after surgery instead of using this. Can I return it?

It will suit your purpose
Bought 2 of these as I housesit and some houses have very low toilets and I'm 5' 9", so when you sit you go way down and fast. I have a hard time getting back up even with a counter top next to you. These are nice, they seem sturdy enough for a heavier framed person. The four stars are because one time the riser lifted somewhat a little when getting up so it wasn't snug to the toilet, but I don't think someone would actually fall off the toilet. Also I felt a slight give when sitting down, just comparing the one at mom's house she got decades ago. You know, "they don't make things like they used to." All in all a good buy don't be afraid to purchase.
