Disney Red Baymax Big Hero 6 Deluxe Boys' Costume

We got this for our 8 year old, and he looked great. He absolutely loved the suit. The chest piece and wings velcro on, and the suit is padded through the purple section. The Mask was a regular mask, but it looked good and was well-made. There were also a couple of plastic rounded parts that attached with velcro at the shoulders to give them the right look. We saw several versions of Baymax costumes on Halloween, and we all agreed this was the best looking!

I bought for my 9 year old son (who is pretty tall for his age) and it fit him well. The only downfall I noticed (as you can see in the picture) the mask had no ventilation so it fogged up from his breathing. Def not a deal breaker for him, he loved it!

My son (he's 4) dressed up as Baymax for Halloween this year. The costume did its job well and he was pleased with it. The little plastic pieces that go on the shoulders stick on with Velcro but the Velcro comes off really easily... My son ended up with one shoulder piece for most of the dayAll of the Velcro is pretty flimsy. It's a little hard to put on and take off. The opening is on the back but only goes to about mid-back, so your child has to really step into it and wriggle it up over his/her belly and arms (bathroom breaks are hard). The opening only closes with like 2 tiny pieces of Velcro. If you are trick or treating anywhere cold, DEFINITELY wear long underwear underneath. The fabric is nice and soft, but incredibly thin. Your child will freeze if the weather is chilly. The material is so thin you can see through it (underwear will show through). The wings are folded in the package which leaves them creased and bent. I put them under some books overnight and they straightened out, but the crease was still prominent. The biggest issue we had with this was the mask. My son couldn't wear it. It fit pretty well and the strap (flimsy again) fit around his head comfortably. HOWEVER, the clear front plastic squished his nose flat. I don't know how a larger child could wear it. Also, there is only a small cutout line for air/breathing. The whole mask fogs up too. We ended up cutting a nose hole out of the clear part so my son's nose would fit and he could breath better, but he hated the mask after that because it was "broken." So all in all, my son was Baymax with no mask and one shoulder piece. I also got him the coordinating gloves, which didn't work out and he didn't wear those either. Despite any of that, my son was happy, loved his costume, and had a great time trick or treating. Other kids liked the costume too. I give this 4 stars for accomplishing the basic goal of a costume and for making my kid happy, but not 5 because of the issues I had with it as a parent. (Just a side note, the pieces look they are textured/3D but they are not. They are just printed lines. Ordered for my 5 year old. Perfect fit. Good quality. Made it through school party and trick or treating. The mask had to be modified to prevent fogging as it rested to close to the chin.

Great costume! My 6 year old son loves baymax and was so happy to be able to wear this. He was comfortable all day in school and trick or treating til evening. I added a base layer top and bottom and it was enough to keep him warm outdoors!

Fit is exact for weight and height. My 4 yr old loves it. The face mask fogs up easily because the air hole isn't very big so he only wears it for a few minutes.

The quality is pretty bad, but I kind of expected that. It's a thin polyester and velcros at the top of the back. The wings velcro to the back, and the shoulder pads velcro to the top of the shoulders. The mask has a thin elastic strap that velcros together (not adjustable).The fit is true to size. We ordered the XS for my 3 year old, who wears 3T, and it's a good fit for him. The opening in the back is so small I didn't think he'd fit in it, but it actually works fine.The main problem I have with this costume is that the mask fits way too close to the face. My son's nose is pushed up against it and it fogs up. Even his eyelashes are smashed against it sometimes. We considered cutting the clear plastic part of the mask out since that's the part pushing against his nose, but I worry it would be too jagged of an edge and be unwearable.Overall I'm still happy with it. The quality is meh and the mask is too tight, but it's recognizable as Baymax to my son and that's really the most important thing. He's happy, comfortable (even when he has the mask on, although he's just as happy with it off), and got to be what he wanted to be for Halloween.EDIT: After a couple wears (two different Halloween events), one of the shoulder pieces detached. They velcro on, but the glue holding it to the shoulder piece came apart.
