Ideal for syringe feeding
Bought this for my sick kitty who was refusing all food. Sadly he didn't want to eat it, as he was very unwell, but it was ideal for syringe feeding. The food was easy to draw back into a syringe and could be squirted at the back of the mouth. Texture and thickness was similar to a fruit smoothie. Nutritionally balanced for sick kitties and could probably also be used for nasogastric feeding. Would also recommend if your kitty isn't well hydrated. Could be added to their complete food for extra liquid intake.

Helped to save my cat
A few weeks ago my cat got very ill and wasn't eating or drinking. I took him to the vets they gave him injections and gave me Oralade (which he isn't keen on) that I syringed but he wouldn't eat by himself for at least 5 days. At my wits end I found Liquivite after searching what could help online. I believe it played a big part in saving his life! I syringed fed him for a few days, then he started to lick it from the syringe. Then he started to take it from his bowl and slowly over a couple of weeks progressed to eating solids again. He is a very fussy eater at the best of times so it was amazing that he liked this. He is 18 and back ruling his domain. His fur is soft and fluffy and he is very happy in himself. My other 18 year old cat loves Liquivite too. I am now giving a small tin between them every couple of days for general maintenance. They react like it is a treat. I would like to give it more often but unfortunately it is quite expensive.

A great product but very expensive
A fabulous product for cats who are struggling to eat normal cat food - if the cat will actually eat it! It needs to be available in a smaller pack size because if your cat refuses to eat it you are stuck with a large quantity that was very expensive that you can't use! Different flavours and even a mixed variety pack would possibly be more enticing to picky cats.Fortunately I was able to find a local cat rescue that was delighted to receive the 10 remaining cans from the pack of 12 so they didn't get thrown out.

Great for poorly cats
All of my cats wanted to eat this whether they were unwell or not, so it must be appealing to them even though it looks like beige sludge. My cats loved it so I'm happy

Really Good
My British shorthair is a fussy eater. She was not eating her regular wet food. So I bought this and it is a really great alternative. The can is a good size for the price.

Good for an elderly, fussy cat
We have a very elderly cat (aged 23) and this is one of the few things she will consistently eat.If she doesn't finish a tin in the course of a day I put it in the fridge overnight and it seems acceptable the next day which as other cat slaves will know is not always the case!

Hit and Miss
Abject failure again. Some cats may like this but our cat took one sniff and that was enough. I tried for 3 days without sucess. Now I am stuck with loads of tins of stuff, lol
