I purchased these because of all the positive reviews. Right out of the bag, they stretched quite well & did their job. These were used for the ear loops in homemade masks, that I keep a supply of in the glove compartment of the car. Problem is, after just a few weeks these rubber bands become brittle & snap, rather than stretch over the ear. I'd expect this kind of failure after several years, but not after several weeks! At the time of this review, it hasn't even been 3 months since I ordered these, and I've already experienced 3 of these breakage failures, rending the masks they were used for unwearable - disappointing!

it may be a stretch but they don't rubber me the wrong way.

I'm not sure why this product didn't live up to what I was used to but it hardly scours off hard crusted on food. I remember when my Mom used these but they were made of something much different.

I got the 1 pound size. Nothing like having a few thousand of these. They are the perfect size for what I wanted - to band up some small priority USPS mailing boxes. These are just like the ones that you always remembered, and used as a kid for rubber band fights.

They seem good, will they survive the test of time? Who knows, rubber tends to dry out and get brittle. The price is right and I'm happy to have them.

They seemed like they were used. I threw them away and went to Walmart for some nice ones.

Hey, they're rubber bands. It's not rocket science. These are as good as rubber bands get. Which may not be saying much except when you use buy bad ones that don't hold up. These definitely do the job well.

There are a lot of rubber bands in this bag. Should last us a very long time.
