Works well, replaces the existing hardwired in pull stations ...
Works well, replaces the existing hardwired in pull stations (for large complexes). Some have asked if this works as a stand alone and it does not. This has to be part of a full system...the type that is professionally installed (the pull station can be replaced by a do-it-yourselfer with mid to high range electrical knowledge.Amazon was the only place beyond a fire alarm installation company wherein I could find this specific pull station and it is the exact one that they would have charged $ 150 to install (the company was actually a bit less than amazon for the part...but the required professional install put them out of my budget). This specific type of pull station has a "fail safe" that breaks off the toggle switch when someone tries to push the handle back up ... I suspect that this is more designed to sell pull stations because one has to replace the entire station once the switch is broken. Also I was surprised to learn that the station does not come with a glass tube (you have to purchase the glass rods separately) which seems silly because each new pull station requires a glass rod to be up to code in most places. Just include the plastic rod Edwards. Who needs to buy 20 at a time for $30?

Built well, works well
Told by Fire Marshall we needed an additional pull station installed at our rear entrance.Literally arrived the next day so we could get the issue resolved.

Decent Pull!
I like this pull, however, they need to add a glass rod! I only got one, and being a hobby guy with fire alarms, all i should get is 20 for $5. Decent Pull.

Way Worth The Money
I am a hobbyist and this pull station is being used to replace a fire-lite bg 10. I am using it with a Fire-Lite MS-2 Panel and have had no problems whatsoever. The pigtail connectors make wiring a *Snap*

Good sturdy device given its price
Good sturdy device given its price. I wonder what kind of tool that i can use to open the cover to reset the station. Too bad that tool is not included.
