Worked very well in pool.

It works great, and so far seems to be holding up ...
I actually use this for physical therapy. I am a PT, and use it for my patients, jogging in place, lunging, etc. It works great, and so far seems to be holding up with mild to moderate use. The resistance is pretty strong for the red. I am not sure I would go any stronger, even with my athletes. The one draw back is that I have noticed that the belt slips a little bit when I am really stretching it, but nothing to get upset over.

Rinse off after using to insure a that chemicals do not compromise durability. Do not leave
One of the best workout tools ever for the traveling swimmer who cannot find a real lap pool while on the road,(pretty much every hotel I stay has a small pool). You can stroke hard or with moderate pacing, do intervals or go for distance. This device always garners comments and questions.....this is a real and legit training tool....and a great deal.

Fitness option without the stress.
Former collegiate swimmer (30 years ago), heart attack 1 year ago, new house with small pool. Tied off bungie with home depot rope to a rock feature that surrounds our spa. Installation was as quick as I could tie a knot. With no flip turns I had to figure out the equivalent of distance (yards) in stroke count based on my old rate adjusted for age and lack of conditioning. Started off with the equivalent of 600 yards. Bought pair of goggles and went to 1000 yards/day. Up to 1200 yards now, all freestyle with an initial first month goal of 1650 yards (the old mile race). The StretchCordz belt and bungie took only a little bit of getting used to, mostly because when swimming you move forward and when stationary, there is an added resistance to each stroke and a lack of momentum buoyancy to your legs. I adjusted with a slightly higher kick rate per stroke and slightly more open fingers to reduce the arm drag. My arms are now used to the added pull and it's becoming as routine as laps used to be. I'm starting slowly and building to an ultimate goal of the equivalent of 2,500 yards in 500 yard increments. The belt holds you securely and once you figure out how to swim with it, there is virtually no pinching binding or tangling.I'm not Olympic caliber, but at 53 years old, this is the most stress free at home exercise I can hope for. I fully expect to wear this one out due to weather deterioration and overuse, and I also expect that I'll be buying the same unit to replace it.

It works great, and I get a great workout
I've been using this in our above ground pool. It works great, and I get a great workout! I attached a rope to two fence posts, and ran the rope between the pool liner and the poles, and then booked the belt onto the rope. This avoided extra stress on our pool. Definitly recommended for someone looking for an at home pool workout!

Too small
I like StretchCordz, way better than Tyr and others and I've had them all. Bought the short belt because the regular belt is ridiculously too long. But the short belt is too short. Does anybody else suspect manufacturers purposefully sell products that leave consumers in a bind? Come'on StretchCordz, rating this two stars because sizing is impractical in either direction. Otherwise good product.

Great product but too short
Fantastic product for backyard swimming during Coronavirus which has closed all the public pools. But it’s not long enough! Needs an additional rope to give it 5 more feet.
