Works really great
If you take video in the sun then you'll appreciate this device. If you do artistic video where you use manual focus, you'll appreciate this device. I can see the screen perfectly which is really quite important. I've only had it a couple of hours but I'm so excited that I had to write the review immediately. It serves a huge purpose and the cost is quite minimal compared to the competition.I've got 3 cameras, a D7000, D750 and D7500. Each screen is a different size but this device does a good job on working on all of them. It does this with 3 different tripod mounts. Each sets the viewfinder at a different height. As one review noted, it doesn't perfectly fit a 3" or 3.2" screen. Bottom line though is that using the different mounts, you'll be close enough that you can see all the important information. If you truly need to see every centimeter of your display then go out and buy several different viewfinders.I got a chance to take this out in the sun and there was no light leakage. The screen looked great. Within a few minutes of hooking it up a local biplane came flying by. If you've ever taken a video camera or phone and tried to track a plane in the sky, you know that it's a challenge. With the viewfinder I had zero problem tracking it coming toward me, flying directly over me and then flying away. It was quite a feeling. While the unit works best if you screw it in and use the elastic cord to seal the top, you can just place it up against the camera screen and use it. You'll either need to hold it with your hand or keep your eye pressed against it so it doesn't move. Which reminds me. They rubber eyepiece is huge and comfortable. You will be totally immersed in your camera screen which is a good thing.

Big and obtrusive, but it works . one of component very easily to lose
this thing is big and one problem is that the wheel that rotates into the bottom of your camera can be very easily lost. it doesn't stay on the rail that it slides on to reach the screw socket (I forget the name of it). I liked the focus ability and gives you nice magnification, but I was convinced I would lose that disc/screw component at some point. if you leave it at the bottom of your camera, you can set the camera down on its bottom and if you want to use a tripod you of course have to take it out and put it somewhere so you don't lose it. The size of this thing makes it hard to use for an amateur video photographer that takes videos of the family at the beach. You can't do it without something like this, but in the process it makes one look like you're filming a documentary. I give it 3 stars because it works and provides good focus and magnification

I Can See Clearly Now
I can see clearly now...the grain is gone [insert catchy musical vamp here]. This viewfinder works surprisingly well though at first I wasn't so sure. Once I adjusted the diopter to get the sharpest image, I had an uh-oh moment that went as follows - "This thing is great, but all it can do is magnify the LCD screen of my camera.... How is having a great view of a not-so-great LCD screen going to help me with focusing?" But then I remembered I had set my screen to maximum brightness. From my camera's settings menu, I lowered the brightness to the midpoint, and the results through the viewfinder were much better. I was seeing fewer white pixels (grain) and more color and detail on the LCD screen. This made focusing much easier. In the end, you are still limited to the image quality of your LCD screen. I really like having the ability to flip-up the viewfinder for accessing the touchscreen on my camera. Not all models offer that. My only complaint is that the shape of the eye cup requires me to angle my head away from the screen a little, but I can accept that as a minor inconvenience. And just a question for Mcoplus...why not design a binocular viewfinder? I would love to be able to view the screen with both eyes.

Works like advertised
I had my doubts that something this inexpensive would do for me what I need. Boy was I surprised. I have both a Nikon D700 and a Nikon D750 - tried this on both cameras. Easy to attach to my tripod or monopod. Allowed me in bright sunlight to get a sharp focus on both cameras. The only drawback is how I pack this safely in my camera bag so it does not break. For the money - well worth it - and if it breaks - not too expensive to replace with a new one.

I really wanted to like it, but the optics are terrible
I really wanted to like this b/c it attaches great to the camera. However, the optics in it are terrible. Right in the middle everything is always blurry even when trying to adjust the diopter. It as if mine has distorted glass right in the middle. If I move my eye around I can maybe start to see things a bit clear, but everything for the most part is distorted and smeared.

Good Product but it does NOT fit 3.2" screens
For what you are paying it is hard to complain but my complaint is not in the product but in the description. Many viewfinders claim that they fit 3"-3.2" screens but I don't know if everyone is lieing or it is just this seller. This does NOT fit a 3.2" screen. It just doesn't. No matter how you much you play around and fiddle with it, it will NOT fit a 3.2" screen.I do want to reiterate that the product is very good for the price.I just do not like that it says that it can fit 3.2" screens when it was obviously NOT made for 3.2 inch screens. (unless you want to cut off a quarter to a half of an inch of your screen on a certain side.)

Excellent!
I needed this on a Nikon D5200 camera that I have to use the live view to shoot with. This thing is SWEET. I wear glasses and I have no trouble with them together with this cover. It has not slipped or come off yet. It seems solid enough and I am not throwing my camera around enough to bust it up.It give me a nice view out in the bright sunshine. I have flipped it open to change menu settings. Mind you, you can do the menu setting via the eyepiece, but it is easier just flipping the thing open. And opens and closes smoothly and solidly.
