This is by far my favorite journal ever. It makes me feel like I've time traveled back to the 19th century. The craftsmanship is exquisite. The paper is thick and the burnt edges just are so awesome; and it opens and lays flat, so very functional as well. Treat yourself to one of these journals.

Bought this as a book of shadows and I was excited for it right out of the box—however, that quickly changed when there was leather dye staining my hands and the paper. Leather was cheap and flimsy, not what would be suitable for what might become a family heirloom. Returned immediately but it took over a month for Amazon to credit my account.

This journal is amazing. I can't believe how magical it looks. It's such a good quality piece of art. The binding is really well done, and it smells like an ancient text pulled from a library in Middle Earth. The pages are thick and really sturdy too. They take ink well without bleeding. I used a glass dip pen with "bats blood" magical ink from the witchy store and it looks incredible.

I am very happy with this journal. It is well made and the pages are thick. Even with the burnt edges of the paper there is lots of room for journaling or sketching/art work. I think the thing I like the most however is that it looks like you are carrying ancient documents or an old world book. I would recommend this journal to others and I’m planning to buy another smaller version.

This leather journal is nothing like I’ve ever seen before, It’s absolutely beautiful. It’s hand crafted, the pages are discolored and burnt, I can’t say enough about the craftsmanship that went into this. I bought the big one and I absolutely love it, even the smell is amazing. I will be ordering another soon. This deserves more than 5 star rating.

Perfect for a Book of Shadows or a journal for songwriting (it's the aesthetic). The pages are pleasant to the touch and have heft, it smells like that leather and new book smell, and overall I will absolutely order this again when I run out of room in the one I've got now!

This journal was everything I hoped it would be. The leather is so soft and the pages are heavy and beautifully done. I am beyond happy with my purchase. I am using it as a grimoire and will be purchasing again in the future. Well worth the money. Thanj you very much!!

Wanted a older looking book to read vows out of for a wedding. This book gave a nice look while standing in front of everyone. This was the officiant's first wedding and he did great. Solid buy for what we needed
