Better than Expectations
oh wow .. did not expect this to be as good as this.done with the same (but tweaked and added to) sound bank. you could play this album straight after oxygene 1-6 and think it was one huge album even though they are seperated by 20 years . amazing . the musical genius does it again .. does not have stand out tracks like oxygene 2 & 4 but very very listenable indeed. the music changes and swirls as the effects and filters are tweaked and modified. every now and then a little rift punches out of the music like a ghostly echo of its older brother . if you loved the first album you will love this album . any fan of electronic music would love this !

Up to standard
A really good follow up to the original Oxygene 1_ 6 this CD 7_13. Recorded to his usual high standards with good stereo separation. If you like Jean_ Michel Jared music this is for you. Really good buy.

I am a big fan of the early albums by ...
I am a big fan of the early albums by JMJ - Oxygene, Equinoxe, Magnetic Fields and Rendez-vous. I lost enthusiasm after that, struggle a bit with Zoolook, but still listen to the early albums regularly. Oxygene 7-13 has echoes of all the early pieces and, for me, brings a lot of his work together with his usual brilliance and diversity. Not sure it is a continuation of Oxygene but very enjoyable nontheless, a valuable edition to our music library.

Excellent Music - Buy it!
I haven't bought a JMJ album since Equinoxe all those years ago, and it was a nice surprise to see that he had decided to create this album, and as I was impressed by the sound samples, I bought the album and I am delighted by it.It is much more than a tired rehash of Oxygene, there are a lot of new ideas and new ways of hearing old familiar sounds and moods from the original album. The first two tracks are just amazing to hear, tantalizingly like bits of the original. The rest of the album is well worth hearing, too.My only gripe - well, I would have liked something more in the sleeve than a lot of artwork and a list of instruments and who helped him out: perhaps something about why and how he decided to return to his roots here? And I hope this album's success isn't the only excuse for Oxygene 14-20: if he does it, it has to be different again or it's not worth doing.

The first sequel to Oxygene (2018 Sony Remaster)
It sounds wonderful, and they have revised the artwork, more saturated colours, thicker text, and a slight crop from the original version which all make for a better cover, it's cleaner and sharper.Really can't find any faults with this reissue.

Love is like Oxygene!
A big fan of his work, I jumped at the chance to buy this album after failing to do so from another website who took months before admitting it was out of stock. No such worries from Amazon!Anyone who has Oxygene will appreciate this album and find it worth the money.

... it over and over again and it is just great but not quite as good as his original one
to do another oxygene album so long after his original one you would have thought he would not be able to recreate such a master class and I have listened to it over and over again and it is just great but not quite as good as his original one.
