A Recommended Product
I've always used PAC interfaces in the past but couldn't get the last to function properly. This Axxess interface works as described. While I didn't used all it functionality, I was mostly after the retention of the OEM satellite receiver retention and the steering wheel controls. The XM retention sort of works by using the AUX-In port but requires and additional AX-LCD module to control it. That was a bust for me so I went with the SXV300 that the radio will control. I kept the balance of the unit for the steering wheel controls function tho only a couple of the buttons worked correctly. It was easily programmed in about 5 minutes and everything works like it did with the OEM radio. I alos like the small sice of the control box which is a LOT easier to find a space to hide!

Perfect integration, easiest yet
Perfect integration with our 2008 Chevy trailblazer. Simple install, easy programming. Would recommend to anyone. I've used PAC, and others. This by far exceeded any previous brands I've used.

Made constant ticking sound.
After wiring the whole thing up and getting it into my truck, it started emitting a ticking sound in my front driver's side tweeter. Put stock radio back in, no issues. Ended up getting a different brand's radio/chime combo and no issues. It's nice that it's a all in one unit, but it would have been nice if they made a GM radio interface & door chime combo for those of us who don't need OnStar or RSE. The chime doesn't get all that loud either, like nowhere near what the factory system is.

Worked Perfectly with OE Controls
Worked well for my 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD without bose audio but with Chevy on star and Safelite radio. It kept my steering wheel controls and everything

It'll work...
Worked great to bypass the garbage BOSE system in my buddy' 2008 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. Make sure to jumper your blue signal wire from the head unit to your amp with the power cable to the amp. That's the ONLY way I was able to get the 3rd party amp to work correctly with this. We just used a simple switch to manually turn the amp On/Off.
