The picture shown is the new model (white color) and the ones received were the older grey model. Also, brackets were missing. Unfortunately, had to send all back. Just started the process and will update once I have my credit.

Excellent switch. I have very limited I.T./networking experience but found this easy to install and configure; using it at home. Once the ubiquiti software is installed, the process was straightforward and quick. The recognition of the network and AP's took a few minutes so have a bit of patience during setup. I will say that I spent some time before ordering on various sites and blogs to better understand how to install and configure, suggest you do the same if you are unfamiliar with them. The AP's worked seamlessly and all other network appliances configured quickly. Using this with a Comcast gateway (wifi turned off) for what it is worth. Switch is quiet, with the fans just slightly audible from a few feet away. All in all, a winner!

Good value, but very loud and noisy fan, tried to update firmware and it froze up. Poor documentation, needs to provide a pin to reset unit. Pretty design.

Coming from a cisco background, I had been hesitant to give Ubiquiti a chance. But.. I when I decided it was time to upgrade my home network I took the plunge and went with an entire Ubiquiti build. Unifi Security Gateway, Unifi Switch, Unifi Access points. I will never again waste money on Cisco products and plan to begin phasing them out in the workplace in exchange for Ubiquiti products.

I have 2 of these switches. The power supply died on one about 2 months after it was installed. Ubiquity was quick to replace it via a smooth RMA process. Extremely cost effective switch with software for managing it that far exceeded my expectations. I use it in my home as I have a lot of devices and depend on POE for various network security cameras and other devices. Paired this switch with some of their wifi access points for one seamless setup. Long gone are the days of a single wifi router and massive dead spots.

I received my Ubiquiti Networks US-24-500W UniFi 24-ports Switch today..I have started a return on the item. The switch arrived defective.. Switch will not power any device.. Fans work but LED with Unifi Logo Light will not light...no lights on the plugged in LAN cables. No power to or connection to any connected LAN cables.Tried several resets with no results. This item was Dead On Arrival
