This is a great little tool to steam vegetables, seafood, etc. It fits different size pots and pans, and performs exactly as described. I wish I was the one who invented it lol.

Combined weight is just under 3 pounds. The steamer basket weighs just over 9 ounces; the lid is just under 1 pound and the base is a little over a pound. The product is sturdy. Designed to cook soup in the base while simultaneously steaming dumplings or vegetables. Large enough to steam asparagus without cutting small. Great product.

When I saw the box it looked too small but when I opened everything up it's a perfect size. Quite larger than it looks old quite a bit very happy and the quality is outstanding.

I bought this for steaming sweet rice. Good size for my stove. Thin material, but good making boiling water faster.

Worked perfectly steaming crab legs. Was able to get quite a few in there to cook at one time. Easy to clean and easy to store.

I order and received the product at the time stated.Overall the product looked great for my needs. After the first use the pan for the water was stained. The stains do not come out. After the second use there was more staining. The larger concern for me was what my hand looked like after the second cleaning. I'm not sure what that is on my hand from cleaning it. However, I can say it doesn't look good, or healthy.I will not be using it anymore. Images included.

Unpacking the box, I noticed that the steamer basket was a solid build. Not so with the bottom of the heat pan... very, very thin, single layer pressed material. I can depress the bottom with heavy thumb pressure. How hard is it to build in a better heat plate?The glass lid is also very thin. I don't think it would survive a 3 foot drop. I doubt the glass is tempered.On a positive note - The basket fits inside another/better quality mult-layered pan i own & i have a quality backup lid that fits.

The steamer is poorly constructed. Materials ( both metal and glass ) are very filmsy. Will not recommend it to anyone.

It is very weak

Used it for steaming but liked my old one better ( which I’ve had for over 40 years . It doesn’t seem to fit together very well but is sufficient . Very light weight also lacks quality.
