I love this thing. It is exactly what I was looking for it has standard 4:1 standard pitch, makes it easy to buy coils for. It did not come with any starter could. The electric coil winder seems to work well once you get the holes potioned right. For me it seems to have a learning curve to figure out where to place the paper exactly so you dont get a half a hole at the top of the page or 1 that seems like an extra. I still haven't gotten that down quite yet. I have used a binder before and the first machine I used seemed easier to get the final hole correct than this one. Overall great purchase, affordable.

As a writer, producer, and a film maker this is a great investment for the long hall. No need to buy 44 hole paper reams you can simple have 24 card stock and make your own holes.... easier to get regular paper then wait for shipping of pre holed paper. Working late night and project deadlines makes this a perfect !!!!

I bought this binding machine in September 2019. I used it for school purposes to put instructional pages into books for my students. Now the pins that punch the holes are dull and are leaving little chads. Today I tried to use it but half the pins would not come down to punch the holes in the paper. I am disappointed it did not make it a year.
