These solid stainless steel hinges replaced the hinges on the hallway door to my apartment. The building is 65 years old, and it appears that previous occupants just painted over the hinges each time they repainted, so they were caked in old paint. These hinges were an exact replacement, in size, right down to the matching machine screws supplied (most hinges come only with wood screws). They also match the brushed chrome finish of the lock set. The pristine appearance makes the door look brand new. These hinges look every bit as well-designed and well-made as stainless steel hinges costing twice or three times as much. I also live on a riverfront, and expect the solid stainless steel to resist rust in the often-humid air.

These hinges were heavy and well constructed. I am impressed with their quality and style. The hinges came with all the screws you’d need for installation. They were shipped very quickly. I’ll continue to see out the Hinge Outlet for my future hardware needs.

It's heavy and oil protected. But, it will be better with one or two long screws for the door frame side.

Fit and finish are fantastic. We did a full remodel and changed all of our door hardware out from polished brass to brushed nickel but we forgot the 4 hinges on our massive front door. These ball bearing hinges did the trick and the door swings effortlessly. I would definitely use this company again!Hint: If you are replacing existing hinges make sure the plate is correct (ours was square edges) and the screw hole pattern is the same! Getting an exact match will alleviate issues once they arrive! Also, replace one hinge at a time and it is an easy process!

Bought these to replace steel hinges that had rusted over time. Stainless provides the long-term solution to rust prevention. These do have a steel pin, but it seems as if all of the stainless hinges do. Time will tell for longevity. But they seem to be very well-made. I contacted Hinge Depot and they were extremely responsive and helpful. Very happy with this company

Most doors that use these hinges need 3 per door, whereas this only comes in a 2 pack. We ordered 2 two packs to get enough for one door and they were quite expensive. They arrived in 2 tiny white boxes, and had clearly been opened as the protective plastic for each hinge was removed and hanging out of the box. They immediately went back in the box and were returned. For the price, we were expecting better. They looked like they'd be nice brand new, but there are better, more affordable options.
