More than just a game!
So we played this game with multiple groups of people. Adults, teens, and grandparents. The adults enjoyed it, and the teens had a lot of topics that they could comment on (topics range from things created in the late 1800's to Twitter and modern TV shows). My 74 year old father took us down memory lane with each and every question, which was SUPER fun. Plus the game is very conversational as opposed to rule driven. This would also make a GREAT Road Trip Game!

Great concept, fun
This game was a great trip down memory lane. It's unique and we learned a lot! I got this for the holidays and everyone in the family could play. I suggest it for small groups that want a quick game that's easy to get into. It has pieces, a board, and added game challenges, but I like to bring just the cards on trips (we turned it into a drinking game with knockout rounds). I would improve the board pieces (they kept falling apart) and make the board bigger.

Good Conversation Starter, Not the Best Game
Tried this with a group of 6 friends. We all paired up and divided the chips for betting. There was a bit of a disconnect between the actual game flow and the concept of gambling. We'd put 2 or 3 chips on our answer, move them to the board, then take them back. There was no way to win more chips or hoard them once you've gotten more answers right. Additionally, moving around the board was a little confusing.Collectively, our favorite part about the game was talking about what came first and reading the explanation on the back. If that was integrated better into the actions we were instructed to take, it would have been more fun overall. I think we enjoyed the subject matter but just had a few qualms with the game play.

Multigenerational fun!
Purchased this for a family trip to the mountains. The game was so much fun - players were 18 to 87. Lots of cards to keep the fun going. If you played often, you'd learn all of the answers. But play only now and then, and you won't remember.

Fun game, poor construction
Fun to play, but the game pieces are cheap and made out of cardboard. The bases fall off when you play. I will still enjoy this game and simply find something else to use as game pieces, (I might find some vintage monopoly pieces),.....but don't expect the existing game to last more than a few uses.
