Didn't Really Work For Me
The stamp print was a little too small, resulting in having to stamp multiple times to cover certain information. There were also times when I could see the information through the stamp.

Great concept, poor execution
Either the ink pad or the stamp is off. The middle third of the stamp is left visible, only the outer thirds actually print the disruptor pattern. To fill it in and then to obtain coverage, you end up stamping multiple times. Ink doesn't fully cover, can still read some text through the disruptor pattern because the ink is too thin. Can't recommend.

Great for paranoid identity theft victims
My husband- bless him- is paranoid about his name and address being together on our mail. He shreds a big pile of stuff every weekend. Frankly, names and addresses together are available anywhere on the internet, and he should be worried more about internet ID fraud, but if this helps him sleep at night. Anyway, a client of mine had one of these (she, too, suffers from mail ID fraud paranoia) and I realized this was the perfect gift for my husband. I put this is in his Christmas stocking and he said it was the most awesome practical gift ever... that it shows a lot of thought went into it. I thought he was kidding (bc really, it's just a stamp) but he was serious. So, ID-paranoid sufferers... step away from the shredder unite! And finally sleep through the night knowing your ID is safe with the flick of the wrist and a firm stamp.

Get yourself some INK
Works very well... honestly If I didn't already have a bunch of INK on hand the rating would have been more of a 3star. It started to go very light after only a few uses... I refilled within the second day. Blacks out very well so it does it's job!

Does a great job covering data
This is one of the best for actually covering data. Some just have random text, but this one has wavy lines that cover up your text. This one truly obliterates what you are trying to cover. Since it is black ink - it works best on black, not as good on other colors - but I doubt any would work well on a different color so that's ok. The only thing I've noticed with mine is that it often has 'light areas' even when pressed on flat surfaces. Not sure if this is because the pad didn't press against the ink hard enough or what. But sometimes I have to stamp something several times. Not a big problem though - as the coverage is good I'm more than willing to stamp and stamp.

Unreliable coverage
On too many papers, this stamp doesn't reliably cover everything and sometimes have to stamp the same place a few times.

Coverage not even
I thought this would be a good alternative to shredding everything. However, the stamp impression had gaps in it that did not cover all of the information. I tried using it on several surfaces for backing; it made no difference. There is a self-inking pad that I thought might need to be seated better, but I couldn't remove it (there is no sheet of instructions in the box). I tried stamping it several times in order to "prime" it - no help. I sent an email to the vendor, asking if they had any suggestions. Instead, I got a reply saying the order was fulfilled by Amazon so I had to deal with them. I exchanged it for another one with Amazon - all of the same problems with the new one. So now, another trip to UPS for another return, and a phone call to Amazon because the return page didn't show me receiving any credit for the purchase. A lot of hassle without the solution I wanted.

Provides security as claimed.
I was a little hesitant on ordering this. I had reviews on a number of products, chose this one. Thus far, I am quite glad I ordered the ‘stamp’ model. This one is of good size that may not cover your details all with one stamp but definitely in two and it is effectively protected. Of course ink on gloss paper is going to rub off but that is to be expected with any product of this type. Not sure how long the product will last in its efficiency or if it is refillable so cannot comment on that but I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend.

I cant read this!
The stamp does exactly what I wanted. You stamp on personal info, and I can't make it out under the stamp. What more can I say. I recommend this product. I went with the stamp as opposed to the roller version as I felt it was easier to replenish the ink pad. Yeah for privacy!

Ink lasts 4 months
Love this!!! Such a great product for identify theft!!Above is my orgional review. This stamper may have lasted for 4 months then ink dried up. Better off with a sharpie for the amount spent on this.

Neh
Would have been good but the stamp doesnt fully cover the texts. There is a part where the ink is so little and need to stamp again (which means more ink).
