They don't work on all door hinges
I actually like the product but found when putting in new doors,that it does not fit all hinges. After purchasing the hinges,I had Pella doors installed. They do not work on those doors and I am still waiting for a refund after having to send them back.

There was too much play and the door hit the wall or didn't open fully. Had no issues installing, but it was difficult removing.

Works great as long as you are reasonable opening your door
I have installed four of these in my house. We have nice oak doors and the common hinge door stops were damaging the doors and the molding.When a door is opened you have to use some common sense and be careful to not just swing it open. Doors have a lot of leverage and can exert hundreds of pounds of force when forceably swung open. As long as you use reasonable care when opening doors these door stops work very well. They limit how far the door opens so the door does not hit walls or cabinets when opened wide.If you swing it hard you can put too much force on the door stop and the hinge or door stop will be damaged and the door will hit the wall.

It didn't work for my hinges
Useless product. It will damage the hinge areas near molding even if it is a fit for your hinges. This product should be called Stupid Stop!

It's a good product
I couldn't trust this item after reading the negative reviews, but I gave it a shot anyway. Maybe there was something wrong with the other ones but mine is working perfectly.
