I installed this on my boat for forward and aft Saance cameras and it works brilliantlyFitted with two memory cards and perfect playbackWould recommend this unit

Installed to record a front camera on car
Purchased this to record the front camera on a car. Easy and straight forward to setup, As I was installing it in the engine compartment and was not certified as waterproof I took some time sealing the housing with insulation tape and put caps over the unused CAM connectors, HMDI slot dust caps and as I was only using one of the SD card slots. Although it has mounting holes, I used velcro to secure it in the engine compartment.The power was connected to a source that came on and turned off with the ignition and I used a fuse splitter with a 7.5amp fuse.So far so good, records as expected. In my case the camera quality is not great but that is the camera rather than the recorder.It would be better if it was certified water and dust proof but hopefully the insulation tape I have applied will make it so.
