Big Man Review! (Update 1 year)
I’m a big man, built like a WWF wrestler. Imagine The Rock with a dad bod gut. I’m a stomach and side sleeper. I’ve been on this mattress for a month now. I got the plush 14’ king size thinking it would be on super soft cloud mode. Plush is a softer medium, softer top but rightfully firm in the middle. There is no bounce to it when you slap it or elbow drop the bed. It absorbs energy, so if your sleeping next to someone you can jump out the bed harder than a Barbarian late for a raid and will not disturb the person next to you. I had 2 different spring mattress for the last 20 years and both of them every so often had my lower back HURTING and hamstrings sore when I woke up. This eliminates that issue completely. The bed conforms to your entire body. No pressure points, keeps your back straight, side straight, and it creates a nice pot hole for your gut if your sleeping on your stomach. Pretty sweet. I used to wake up often to toss and turn and to roll over. This is the first bed for the first time in 20 years I wake up in the same position I feel asleep in for an entire 7-8 hours. No aches, no soreness, no pains and I wake up feeling “aligned”. I get out the bed do alittle basic morning stretch and feel great. I’ve beat my body up from physically working too hard and old exercising injures, this is a well worth it mattress for a big man who needs real support. Now the bed does get softer over time the more you sleep on it I guess it has a long break in period, that’s the only reason I knocked a star off. So if you have back any problems, ham string tightness, feel crooked in other mattresses , in need of a supportive bed, or a big man like me who needs to be cuddled by the mattress, get this. If this was the 3 bears this ain’t mama bears bed in terms of softness, definitely no where near papas, but certainly just right. One year update: oh yeah it’s broken in, takes 6 months before you have to rotate your bed. Now this whole bed is broken in and is more comfortable than ever. It definitely is plush but it takes time. I can see this mattress lasting 10 years easy.

Very good for aching back and worn out knees
If you get back ache when you get up in the morning, it's time to change the mattress.Indeed, my old mattress had a visible depression in the middle, and was not supporting my back.In addition to this, my worn out knees felt pain, for the mattress is bowed up, when my body weight is placed on it.Since there is not much cartilage left in my knees, this bowed up situation puts undue pressure on the knee joints. Too often I wake up in pain in the middle of the night and gingerly shift the position. If this resonates with you, then you might want to consider this mattress in the 'firm' rating. It's a memory foam, and it hugs your body contour. The whole body, that is every part of the body that is in contact with the mattress, is supported.Even though it is rated "firm," it does not feel hard; it is actually soft--it will readily give to the weight of your body--but it will hold your body up, without being plush. Plush is bad for your back. Your body is not sinking into the mattress. In this sense, it is 'firm.'I slept on it the first night, and I feel already the difference: my back hurts less. I could straighten up, without the great pain I used to feel. I think it will get better and better. So worth the money I paid for it. I will give 5 stars, after I slept on it for a week. For now it is 4 stars. After One Week report:I must say, I am glad I bought this mattress. The morning after the first night of sleep on this mattress, my back hurt less--about one half? As I slept on the mattress, the back pain significantly diminished. After 7 nights of sleep, the back pain is maybe 1/5 of what it was before. I now can get up and straighten myself without difficulty. Good stuff!

You will get much better sleep!
After sleeping on a firm spring mattress for most of my life (not comfortable), I decided it was time for a new mattress because I was not getting great sleep - mainly because of how hard the mattress felt. I hesitated about memory foam, but I gave it a shot anyway. After a few weeks, I have been getting significantly better sleep. I wake up feeling well-rested and less achy. It's taken some getting used to the memory foam and not having any bounciness as a spring mattress, but I have no complaints about that.Unpacking the mattress was pretty simple. It came vacuum compressed and rolled up in a box about 17 x 17 x 42 inches. It fully expanded after a day, but it was off-gassing pretty badly for a few days, requiring me to leave the window open for a few days.My only complaint is the off-gassing, which faded slowly over a month and a half. I think it's because I didn't give the mattress enough time to fully air out and I live in a colder environment. I was finally able to let it air out all the way. I think the off-gassing taking so long was just an error on my end, not giving it more time to air out in the beginning.Original September/2024: My only complaint is the off-gassing, which has been slowly fading away, but is still quite strong after a month. I guess it's because I haven't given the mattress enough time to fully air out and I live in a colder environment. I purchased a space heater to keep my room a bit warmer and will keep the window and door open for ventilation and hope it helps. I will update my review once I can make the odor go away.UPDATE 10/3/24: After running a heater for a few days, washing the sheets, and leaving the sheets off the mattress for a few days, the off-gassing has faded significantly.UPDATE 10/22/24: I gave it another round to air out recently. I took the sheets off and washed them, opened my window and door, and gave it two days to air out. I can confidently say the off-gassing has finally stopped! The bottom of the mattress was still off-gassing a little too so I leaned it against the wall for a day.
