EpsonEcoTank ET-5800 A4 Multifunction Wi-Fi Ink Tank Printer with Fax

I needed an all in one printer, copier and scanner, but was also looking at lower than laser page costs. This printer uses the Epson ink tanks concept, which is much cheaper to run than previous ink-jets or laser printers. It is very fast, very quiet and offers the additional functions of copying and scanning.Whilst a little big, it does so much, so quickly and quietly, it is a perfect home printer for me, particularly as I only print around 150 to 200 pages a month. Very high quality.

I've had this printer a year now so I'm ready to honestly say it's a great one. The print quality is excellent. It's easy to use. The duplex works fine - I think I've had one paper jam in over a year and that's a minor miracle in itself. It seems a bit slow to print but that's probably because I always print duplex. Don't believe the claims about initial ink use - I needed to refill sooner than I expected the first time but I am still on my second bottles of each colour and the bottles are pretty cheap to buy so I'm pretty sure it's more economical than most printers. It is big and heavy but I bought a sturdy two drawer filing cabinet to sit it on next to my desk and that's worked out fine.

I got this printer for printing a weekly newsletter as well as normal everyday printing. It’s very good. Great quality and speed. It does have a few gremlins. It has stopped printing a few times when left unattended and with plenty of paper.I have printed on regular paper and labels. The label printing quality is better than my old laser jet.

Physical printer is larger than expected. The inks that come with the printer, their yields are attached.Super easy and drip free to fill ink.The initial innililisation process does consume ¼ of the ink from the tank, for each colour.The printer is fast, when comes to black and white printing. Oh and the printer tray, that holds the printed pages, that tray automatically comes when you want to print something. A space saying novelty.

Very easy to setup.Great software, allows numerous program selections.Ink cost virtually negligible, compared to Cartridge InksThree Input Trays allows for very economical paper usage.Works brilliantly, and is very economical to run.The initial outlay, is money well spent.

Amazon have this product listed as "With Up To 2 Years Worth Of Ink Included" however after contacting them 3 separate times, culminating in a 1 hour phone call they have told me that "the ink in the box is available to use for up to 2 years" which is just an excuse, it should be on the Epson Unlimited program but evidently the made an error describing it as no card was received in the box for this service.I have informed them but am leaving this review to help anyone making a decision if it still says that in the name.Printer seems good but will not review until further experience. Massive improvement over our ET-4850 but printer is twice the size as you might expect.

What can I say, this has hands down got to be the easiest printer I've ever set up.It's quick, easy to use, cheap ink, what more do you need.Not once had to look for information on how to use, it's so easy, and the menu is easy to navigate. The only downside is that if left on overnight it loses connection to the network, just needs to be turned off and on again, but hey that makes me turn it off each day, saving electric also.

Wow have not regretted buying the printer. It is highly recommended for a small office. Love it. Works brilliantly and very ecomonicial.
