Better than a cone!
From the reviews I was unsure what size to get my fluffy old boy, because he used to be around 5.3kg but due to extreme muscle wastage he's now just under 4kg. I went for a Large in Grey (first 2 photos), & while it fit perfectly at the top, the chest, & length of his body, it was loose & droopy around his back legs. He didn't seem to care or notice, but occasionally his back legs went inside it, so I ordered a Medium (third photo). The medium is more snug, but comes lower than ideal on his chest (rather than neck), & does seem to annoy him where it hugs his legs. But still it's better than the cone of shame, & is stopping him chewing at his various lumps & bumps, so it's staying.Despite his feisty nature he let me put it on so easily, & he didn't mind the looser one at all, in fact he seemed to really like it! The more snug one has made him grouchy, but honestly these are fantastic given the alternative, so I'm sure he'll get used to it. There don't seem to be enough poppers on the Large , but I'm glad to have poppers rather than the velcro that the lighter colours seem to come with.EDIT: The Medium that fit him snugly turned my boy in to a statue for 24 hours. He even seemed relieved to have the cone back on once I removed it. I think it's better to have a cat get his feet stuck inside one that's too big (thus becoming a loaf, or walking his way out of it) than a dribbling angry statue.

Perfect
My little Mia had to have an operation in the summer. She normally does NOT tolerate anything, but this? Yes! She was super comfortable in it, I bought three and alternated them because she had to wear them for 8 weeks, and she was absolutely fine. Started to go out in them again, felt free to eat and walk, absolutely brilliant. The key is to get the size right. Once you've got it, this little suit is wonderful. My neighbours called her Mia Ballerina!!!

Does the job
I bought my cat two of these suits, this one I gave to the vet to put on after her surgery. Vet said it was a decent quality suit and a good size. It didn't last as well as the other one however, after two days we had to change it, it was filthy and also I think due to the cat trying to get it off/licking it, the suit itself was looking tired and frayed. That said, it did the job for two days and was easy enough to get off.

Not suitable for cats who have been spayed
My cat has just been spayed, I purchased this to replace the dreaded cone. My cat is a small and skinny cat due to her breed, I bought a medium and it was too tight on her back legs. Her wound is on her lower left side, when I tried to put her left leg through the leg hole she made a noise to tell me it was hurting her so I removed it straight away. I have had to put the cone back on her and her surgery was 3 days ago. The cone a vet gives to you will be better than this if your cat has been spayed. Don’t waste your money like I did. I can’t return it because of hygiene reasons.

Wouldn't recommend
I ordered a medium for my cat at 8 months old and it was lovely soft fabric and smart design as the buttons are easily accessible and it allowed my crazy fur baby the freedom to get around easily in comparison to the cone collars. However five days after my cat was spayed she figured out that she could get her front legs out of the holes and then fully escape out the wide shoulders. I all fairness maybe i got a size too big but the suit seemed to fit perfect at the start, i believe the fabric just became stretched. But the vet had said that fabric body suits aren't great as the cats can still try and lick the wound leaving the fabric wet and could cause the wound to "sweat". Lucky this fabric sticks to the cats tongue so she didn't seem particularly interested in licking to much so the wound remained dry and healed well, and also lucky she had only figured out how to escape the suit once her wound was fairly well healed. Overall i would say in this instance it done the job and i do think the suits are a better alternative to cone collars for crazy kittens, however if i were to do this again i would probably go for some sort of waterproof suit that come up past the cats shoulders (if there is one).

Very Comfortable and Great fit
This suit fitted our cat perfectly. The one the vet provided was so baggy I had to peg it so his rear end was open enough to go to the loo. My cat was perfectly comfortable wearing this and he didn't acknowledge it at all so I felt it was a perfect alternative to a horrible cumbersome, upsetting collar.

Didn't work
This is well made, looks cute, and fits as described, leaving an area open for litter tray trips. Unfortunately, after appearing to tolerate it all day, my cat somehow escaped the suit in the night and we found her bleeding in the morning.
