Almost perfect!
Pros:* It's easy to put together - just like a fabric cube.* It looks nice.* It's sturdy.* It weighs almost nothing without the folders.* It really does hold the normal and long folders.Meh:* If you're using the long folders, the plastic side rails are too long to use with them, so sliding the folders isn't quite as smooth.* The plastic side rails are hard to put on where the fabric is sewn together, and it might take a little bit of elbow grease to get them to fit correctly.* When you try to slide the folders on the plastic side rails, they either slide really well or catch and don't slide it all. All you have to do is pick up the folder hooks and move them slightly to get them sliding again.Cons:None! :D

Love these File Boxes!
We love these beautiful file boxes that are much needed for organizing our messy office closet! We also received above and beyond customer service when we received one set that was missing one piece. I contacted the store directly, as indicated on their lovely enclosed notecard that they included with each set. I contacted them via email that they provided, and they responded within 24 hours with a prompt resolution to provide us with a complete replacement box, not just the missing piece. Two days later, I then received an email that that they felt bad that my entire order wasn't complete, and therefore shipped us a full complete replacement set, which we received within five business days. Again, the store went above and beyond! We have already filled the four sets (8 total boxes), and plan to order six more, because the color and linen is perfect and beautifully designed to hide everything. Oh, and we love using these boxes over and above a filing cabinet that we moved from, because they fit nicely in a closet and on bookshelves.PROS: Excellent customer service from seller; easy to assemble boxes; beautiful linen; sturdy overall structure that holds a lot of weight; sturdy handles on each side for ease of lifting; strong base insert that makes it extra sturdy to stack on top of each box; and strong hanging folder edge clips.CONS: Hard to attach the hanging folder edge clips (not worthy of reducing the overall rating). The hardest part about installing the plastic strips was that they wouldn't fit easily over the end sewn material that was also double thick as it was overlapped, and the material would move when trying to slide the plastic strip in place. After I learned how to clip and slide it on by holding the material in place and sliding the strip on slowly the strips stay, because it's a very tight fit.

Useful for smaller volume filing needs
Let me start by saying that I am pleased with these bins so far, and that they serve the purpose I need them for very well. I really only needed something to store and organize a smaller volume of hanging files, since even a small two drawer metal filing cabinet would have been far too much for what I needed.Assembling was easy enough, though the plastic runners you need to fit onto the lengthwise top edges took a bit of wiggling to get on. Having them be a bit tighter is a good thing, as they will stay in place better, and it does add a wee bit more structural integrity to the bin. They do have a bit of a tendency to start sliding up, but once you start putting weight (aka files) on them, it conditions the material of the bin and the plastic runners to fit together a bit better. What these bins are: Primarily made of fabric, lighter weight, decent construction for lighter weight storage. They are best put to use for lighter filing needs, to transport lighter loads of files between locations, or lighter weight storage. Hanging files do fit in them, but the hooks don't hang as neatly as they do on dedicated metal file runners. If you plan to use the lid, you will not be able to use the plastic tab labels on the files. The plastic runners are wider than the opening of most standard hanging file hooks. If your filing needs are lighter, then these are a far more cost effective and attractive solution than getting a heavier duty filing solution. I could also see this being a decent storage solution for stuffed animals or crafting suppliesWhat these bins are NOT: If you have more than occasional filing needs, they are not a replacement for standard filing boxes, bins, or cabinets. If you are planning to keep a lot of hanging paper files, or even putting tabbed labels on your files, these bins will not accommodate that. The lid fits over the hanging files, but it is sitting directly on TOP of the files themselves. There is no clearance built in for tabbed file labels, so they will get crushed or popped off if stacked. The clearance and measurements are purely for the top of the hanging files. I would also caution against overloading the bins as far as weight capacity. They are decently constructed, but they are still fabric, and the seams will be subject to wear and tear. If you want to lug around a heavy load, then just invest in a more durable weight bearing design in plastic or metal.Do I like these bins? Yes! But I bought them to fit a very specific purpose. Though I have owned metal filing cabinets in the past, it would have been overkill for the small volume storage I needed a solution for. These bins fit that need very well, and I would recommend them for those with similar needs.

Good quality, easy to assemble
These are very nice looking storage boxes that are fairly sturdy, very easy to assemble with plastic rims to add ease and durability with hanging file folders. Lid has extra room to accommodate hanging folders (a problem I run into with standard boxes). The lid can also fit under the box if needing an open top to work. While these come with a fairly sturdy bottom piece to add durability, I wouldn't load anything too heavy. Mine are filled with paperwork and it works fine.

Strong enough to hold all my files
This organizer box was exactly what I was looking for. I needed something sturdy that would not break and would hold with all the moving around I do for work. I had purchased others in the past from other companies and they were too flimsy and did not last me long. This organizer box is not only appealing but very sturdy, manageable, and holds heavy files. I loved mine so much that I just bought one for my co-worker, and may need to buy just a few more.
