NGTeco W1 Time Clocks for Employees Small Business

I went back & forth on getting a higher grade clock that has a monthly subscription but decided not to after reading positive reviews for this one. First of all, the lack of directions is ridiculous. I spent way too long trying to figure out how to get to the menu then read a review on here saying to hold down the M/OK button. Finally got my employees set up. Setting up the fingerprint went ok. It had to be redone a couple of times. Make sure your employees always hits OUT before clocking out otherwise it will clock them in as IN again and the whole report is screwed up. The phone app is the absolute WORST. Anytime I try to go to attendance to see my employees times for a day, it shuts down the app. All I'm able to do is email the report to me and I'm lucky if I actually receive it without having to send it a dozen times. Also make sure your employee has NOTHING on their finger otherwise their fingerprint won't be accepted and there is no option to use the code that they set up at the beginning. Over all I do not recommend. I'm ready to throw the stupid thing in the trash. And wish I was still within the return window.

Very easy to mount and setup.Thanks for the NGTeco time app ( available both in Google Play and Apple App Store ), it brings excellent user experience to me.I can view my attendance records directly on my cell phone using the WiFi connection to the time clock without having to be next to it.The time report is very simple to understand and easy to figure out the in/out punch.I would recommend it to any small office if you are looking for affordable clock and do not want to pay monthly fee.

This thing is junk. Very cumbersome to add missed punches and the directions included were nearly useless. The ap crashed constantly and you have to be on the same WiFi as the clock to even use it. I got booted after the first day and was told to rescan QR code to get access. But it wouldn’t scan my fingerprint to give me admin access.

I ordered my ZKTeco time clock for my company and it works great. The fingerprint reader makes sure our employees cannot cheat on their work hours. I'm very satisfied

I’m really upset with this I have reached out and asked questions on this page called and left a voicemail with no return. Trying to get past the first step which is setting up WiFi settings and the usb that comes with it fails to upload WiFi settings!! I used another usb flash drive hoping that works and it did not feeling defeated really didn’t want to return it but it seems like I have to now very upset and disappointed.

This slim design clock fits our small office (6 employees only) very well. fingerprint sign-in/out avoids the daily manual punch.And its app is simple and easy to use; it only takes a few minutes to get the auto-generated report from the email using the smartphone.I would recommend this product if been asked.

Key features of this thing like "Add Missing Punch" are there simply for show. You can add all day long but the data goes no where and doesn't show up on the reports. You can only download a report and email it to a dotcom address, so if your company has anything other than that, this feature is useless. The unit itself is "touchy". One day it will accept a fingerprint punch-in or out, the next day, nada. Calling customer is extremely painful because they just talk, and talk and talk and you can hardly get a word in edge-wise. Not to mention they literally told me to wait 2 weeks until they add a feature that is actually already on the unit. I feel like I got trapped into buying an experiment and I am truly unamused. Don't buy this thing.
