Phonak Receiver 4.0, Replacement Receiver for Phonak Audeo Marvel M RIC Hearing Aids (2M Receiver 4.0, Left)

Saved me about $250 compared with taking the HA to the shop. Definitely requires good manual dexterity though, and good lighting and a magnifying glass help, too. There is a special tool to release the locking pin which you will need to do. Some HA cleaning/care kits come with a pin removal tool that works just fine.

I bought this to replace the left speaker wire that just suddenly stopped working on my Phonac Audeo P70-R hearing aids. You will have to buy a removal tool to remove the old one from your hearing aid, but you can buy them on Amazon also, they come in a pack of 10 which is a bummer because you only need one but they are cheap enough. You can also find videos on YouTube that show you how to replace the speaker/receiver wire. It was very simple and only took a minute to replace.

Perfect replacement for the broken receiver wire on my Phonak Audeo M hearing aid. I didn’t know that the receiver wire could be changed. I’ve had my hearing aids for 4 years, so I went ahead and changed the right wire too. Very easy to change (after watching a YouTube video) and both of my hearing aids are working like new now. The wires were delivered in 2 days. Highly recommend.

One of my Phonak Marvel Audeo Hearing Aid receiver wires developed a crack in the insulation, so the wire was unsupported and unprotected, resulting in eventual failure. Online videos show you how to replace the receiver and wire.You will need something to press the receiver release pin on the Hearing Aid body. Make sure you buy the correct right (red) or left (blue) receiver as well as the correct receiver power (S, M, or P) and wire length (0-3), as marked on the receiver body. DIY saves major money compared to having audiologist make replacement and it isn't difficult.

Prior to ordering a new receiver for your Phonak hearing aid you need to know the power (S M P) and the length (0 1 2 3). This information is not available on the web site but is critical for a proper replacement.
