King Arthur Camelot Knights Medieval Times Dragon Fantasy Chess Set W Castle Board 17"

My dragon loving chess enthusiast loves this set! It arrived carefully packed to protect the pieces. The only challenge for the players is getting used to differentiating the pieces by their wings. Love the castle board as well!

Looks and feels cheaply made. It's more of a particle board material than actual wood. One of the pawn had a piece broken. I sent it back for a refund. I was very disappointed in the quality of this chess board definitely not worth the amount of money the seller is asking.

The pieces are so cool looking and good quality. It's a lot darker then in the picture though

All in all the set looks great but quality is lacking. Lets start with the board. Out of ten I'll give it a 6. Its big, sturdy, and is easy to play on! Though the board does feel cheaply made, you can also see it. The corners of the board have pin holes kind of a let down when you look at the price of $140. I can live with the cheap board, but the chess pieces are also lacking. They do look great. However, they are very inconsistent. The bottoms of the pieces aren't bottom heavy and knock over easy. Due to the being knocked over easy part, I knock over a pawn and the tip of the wing broke. HUGE! let down. I don't think the price I paid for this is a good deal. If you're able to find this on sale for around $60-$70 then it would be a much better deal. My wife does love it and it is a good board but quality isn't that good.

The look and size of the set are what I expected. The weight of the pieces is lighter than expected, particularly for the money. Overall, however, I'm happy with it as a gift for my granddaughter.
