Using this for 20 plus years! You won't regret it!
I could be a spokesperson for this product! I love it so much! Back in 1991 I had my first child. My aunt told me about this powder it impressed her so much. She was a caretaker for my grandmother and used it to prevent bed sores. I bought some and it came with some info on the top of it that told you how to compare this powder to other body/baby powders out on the market. It said to get 2 glasses of water. You will also need some powder you would like to test it against. In the first glass sprinkle the other brand on top of the water. In the 2nd glass sprinkle the caldesene powder. Now take your finger and stick it straight down through the middle of (the other brand of powder)and pull it right back out again. You will find the powder clumped up and wet all over your finger. Now do the same thing with the other glass of water Except use the Caldesene powder. Now after you pull it out...you will find your finger dry wherever the powder is...so much so that you can blow some powder off!If using on your baby...make sure the skin is dry and pat or smooth the powder on. My babies never had a wet bottom or rashes when I used caldesene...and I always used caldesene!!! I ditched all my other baby powders and never used them again!I also buy it for me now more than 25 years later. I pray they don't ever stop making it or change it in anyway!!!

Works Much Better Than Deodorant
I live in Florida where we suffer through many hot and very humid days. I've been using stick deodorants and roll-ons for years and years; they always wore off quickly so there was frequent underarm odor. I ran out of my regular deodorant and had to use the Caldesene powder until I could get some more. I ended up not getting more of the regular deodorant because the Caldesene works better, no odor at all. I also stopped using liquid soaps and went back to bar soap. Odor used to be noticeable the next morning with the regular deodorant and the liquid soap, but using Caldesene and bar soap instead has solved every problem I had with body odor. I used to use regular baby powder to help me with prickly heat, but Caldesene is so much better. It has a lovely light fragrance and I feel so clean and fresh using it and no longer worry about body odor or damp skin. Lovely stuff!

30 years & still using this!!
When I had my first child over 30 years ago, my Mom reminded me that my siblings and I were all allergic to Desitin and many other diaper rash remedies when we were babies. I decided the best thing to do was to really aim for prevention. A friend recommended Caldesene and it was wonderful!!! We had a very occasional rash that required prescriptions, but almost no other irritations. Fast-forward 30 years and it's one of the first items I gave my children when they were expecting their own little ones- and they all use it right to potty training. It's great for heat rashes too!!! This is an absolute staple in our entire family. What I DON'T like, is that when I purchased it on Amazon last year, it was $5- a bottle- for EVERYONE. NOW it's $7- for everyone and $5.65 to 'subscribe'. The only way to get a halfway decent price on Amazon is to either subscribe or pay $10.99/mo for Amazon Prime. Nobody's going to bully me into joining a program that I don't want to join. I will continue to purchase Caldesene, probably for life, but I will purchase it elsewhere. I see that Rite Aid Online has it for $5.24! Guess I'll start there!

An essential product for every household having children.
My daughter when she was about 2.5 years old, got diaper rash, god knows how!I didn't wanna use any types of fancy diaper rash creams available for this purpose since they hardly work.Someone recommended Medicated protecting powder & Surprisingly enough, in just a few hours her rash was seemingly better. For that very reason, I always carry this Powder whether I'm home or traveling with her. With almost zero fragrance, this product has been proved Great for treating minor irritations & prickly heat too.It works wonders for grownups too! Products like these might sound Old school, however, it must be present at every household for they Work!

Great for rashes or skin irritations in adults too
This is a really good product, but it should be listed as baby and body powder, because it's wonderful for adults. I'm in my 50s and use it regularly.Zinc oxide is the number one choice [and a naturally occurring one] that helps fight off skin irritation by wiping out bacteria and yeast that cause a variety of conditions including diaper rash in infants to chaffing rashes in adults. This product contains 15% which is one of the highest amounts available in body powder. In the summertime, I can sweat a fair amount, which usually isn't an issue. However, I am prone to yeast rashes on the inner thigh area that can be problematic if I can't get to an evening shower right away. If I even sense that it is going that direction, I'll powder up with a little of this product and it takes care of the situation before it becomes painful. I keep several bottles as backup just in case the supplier runs short, and there is no shelf-life to it so long as you keep it dry.
