The Mad About You Collection [DVD]

Thoroughly enjoyed the videos. Just waiting for Seasons 6 & 7 to be released to complete my collection.Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt are a perfect match together and wish they could do a reunion movie.The only thing I was a little disappointed with is the ending to the series. I would have loved to have them wait to do the reunion show.SPOILER****How they they end up separated AGAIN?? Wasn't too thrilled the the last epidose of the show - not because of their acting but because of the writing.

I'm currently working in Afghanistan, and when I placed my order I wasn't really sure how long (or if) I would see it. The shipping was almost immediate, and I received it very quickly. As for the product...I am a little biased because this is one of my favorite shows, but the product was exactly as advertised. My only complaint is that there were not enough episodes. I guess I'll have to buy more...oh darn.

I watched the first episode, I haven't watched any of the disks, but I did make sure they work. It got here fast, and looked okay, so. Nice delivery time and stuff. Just letting others know, I have nothing to say about the product, but I decided to just keep it because I'm not a crazy fan of this show. I meant to purchase the complete series and was surprised about the price. Now that I realize my mistake, I understand the price, and it makes more sense. Just to be clear, THIS IS NOT THE COMPLETE SERIES, it is instead a collection of episodes picked by the shows' two stars, Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser. True Mad About You fans: BEWARE.

I AM A HUGE "MAD ABOUT YOU" FAN!! I LOVE PAUL REISER'S WORK!! Out of all of the great TV shows out there...this show rates as my favorite--it's better, cleaner and more wholesome than "Friends." I have desperately and patiently been waiting to watch season 3, 4, 5, etc. I couldn't wait to ADD EVERY episode to my collection! I wanted to cherish watching them in its original order as intended! I wanted to have the opportunity to hook my friends less familar with this masterpiece...AND THEY GO AND SLAP ME IN THE FACE BY selecting a few of THEIR favorite episodes and calling it "the BEST OF!?*!?*@#$%&*!?" What is that--TV d'jour? I am SOOOOOOO dissappointed! The beauty of this show is that.....every episode is GREAT. MY favorite ones aren't neccessarily the next persons' because we all enjoy each one for different reasons. I hope and pray that this review is not only read by customers considering a purchase, but by someone who will listen to the fans and change this hurtful catastrophe!! PLEASE GIVE US OUR SEASON 3!! PLEASE GIVE US EVERY SEASON IN A DVD JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHER GREAT SHOWS!! Why would Sony, Paul Rieser, Helen Hunt, or anyone do this to us?? "Mad about you" was one of the greatest shows before all of the great shows came along. It was fabulously well-rounded before "Freinds, Frasier,Will & Grace" etc. Give us our episodes!! We want to support our show!! Just let us be fans! Let us spend more money on more dvds, and quit keeping all of the episodes to yourselves. I've been ripped off and I feel cheated. I AGREE with the other reviews...... I want season 3 and fast!

Hello, can anyone actually review this item instead of complain, complain, complain??Thank you Paul and Helen for taking some time and putting together this fun collection. I enjoyed all the extras and your comments and interviews. That was a nice touch. It must be so rewarding to look back on your work and realize that it was such quality stuff, none of the witless junk that is out there now.Even though this series was a comedy, I was always moved by the very sweet moments and the very tough and poignant moments.It is fun to watch with my 13-year old son so that he can see that while marriage is tough, it is worth it. He just loves the silly and fun episodes.Because I don't have cable/tivo, the only way I get these episodes is through the DVDs, so please release the other seasons too. Sorry again about all the complaining reviews - it's just that they love your series so much they want it all. God bless!

Well, I'm not even Jewish, but growing up in Manhattan,I have a full appreciation for the humor, the demeanor,and the sensitivities of this whole show.....Great casting, great acting, and scenery that brought backa lot of memories for me as well.Now I am compelled to get the WHOLE seriesJonny G

SONY get off your behind and release all the seasons. You should be ashamed that you would tease fans with season 1 and 2 then not release the other 4 seasons. Shame on you! Fix the problem release the rest. If you feel you need to add stuff go ahead but announce that your doing so and we will see them soon. True M.A.Y fans (and there are alot of us out there) will wait for them if we at least know you hear our crys and are doing something about it

I was very disappointed that this was not the complete collection of all the seasons, the product description was very vague which is why i probably missed the part about it only being a "sampling" of episodes from the variousseasons, had i known this i would have never paid this high of a price.
