Cool 1:43 scale diecast model of the classic television crime/action series Starsky and Hutch.The whole car is painted a nice vibrant red with it's trademark white accent stripe and front grill and rear shiny chromed bumpers, huge fat muscle car mag wheels and it also includes the police siren.Comes with it's own clear display case which I've mentioned in another 1:43 diecast review, that it's a fingerprint and dust magnet.Apart from the wheels, there are no other moving, opening or closing parts, for example, the doors, hood and trunk are molded shut but both the drivers and the passengers windows are absent so you're able to see it's nicely detailed interior.The wheels roll freely but just like most diecasts that are accompanied with their very own display cases, a small phillips head screw locks the model securely onto it's base.Very cool car if I may say so and a nice tribute in 1:43 scale to the TV series car.

I was a Starsky and Hutch fan back in the day and loved that Ford Tranio. (Striped Tomato) I have this on my bookshelf at work and looks great and have gotten multiple compliments on it.

Fantastic product - except the manufacturer made the mistake of placing the red, roof light on the passenger side of the car, it NEVER goes on the pass. side! Who places it there when there is no passenger? LOL! Fast delivery, great stuff, thank you.

It's perfect

Faithful miniature of the Striped Tomato from Starsky and Hutch. Nice little replica, lots of detail. The case came cracked on mine, but it was small, so I didn't mind. As for authenticity, the stripe is a bit elongated over the rear wheels, but it's not too bad. I've seen far far worse on real cars. The wheels, however, are not correct. The style is okay, and the front wheels are spot on. The rear wheels are too skinny and the rear sits too low. It doesn't have near the rake the real Torino had in the show. Because of that, I deducted a star. It's nice size for the office, though. And, again, the detailing is quite nice.
