Great Value
I would recommend this to anyone wanting to make sushi at home. Very easy to use. As for cleaning, pro tip: wrap the bamboo mat in plastic food wrap before using each time, that way you don't get rice sticking to it and don't have to get it wet in washing. It will last much longer and have better results. Happy rolling!!

BambooMN Brand - Sushi Rolling Kit - 2x rolling...
I was surprised. I saw these things on Korean Drama's i watch. So i got one. I can make egg rolls perfectly. the soft wispy fragile paper you roll into eggrolls as the outer crispy shell can be compressed in the roller.. as the compression is equal due to the bamboo matt you can roll these things nice and tight. lay out the paper on the bamboo mat...oil or butter the paper, drop in some rice, hamburger, shrimp, cheese, lettuce , hot sauce, spice whatever you want. ROll it half way... fold over the sides (to seal the ends) then roll it the rest of the way.. toss it on a baking pan.. in the toaster oven or oven for 20 min.. and wow. I just cannot do this without these bamboo mats!.. I'm very very happy with this product. happiness vs cost ratio is fantastically high on this product. I love it and use it! 5x stars for this purchase. You can also do it the korean way with some dried seaweed for paper.. rice and other stuff.. healthy as heck !

I Like ThinkBamboo Sushi Rolling Kit: B/4-Stars!
I make vegan seaweed wraps all the time and this bamboo rolling mat set is very handy. It comes with 2-small rolling mats, which is nice if you’re cooking with friends or young relatives, and a spoon for scooping and smoothing out the rice.Tip: Sometimes the seaweed paper rips, so it’s best if you use a really sharp little steak-type knife to cut and cut from the center by poking a hole/slit and then cutting through, as opposed to trying to make a saw cut, which will ruin your paper and leave you with rice all over the place. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles as the (pricier) fancy restaurant-style maker that you can use to make different sizes (and shapes), but it works just fine.It was reasonably inexpensive, and it gets the job done.Overall, it’s a very sound investment if you like it simple. Our grade: B ; or 4-Stars!

Still going strong!
I've had this product for almost a year probably and I still love it and use it weekly! I wrap the mat in saran wrap and then roll my sushi and voila, easy clean up! I saw a similar kit at a department store for $30!! What a rip-off! this totally gets the job done and even if it does break, I'd rather just get another one of these cheap ones than to pay so much for a department store one! the only thing i'd say is that the mats are just about the size of my seaweed paper so sometimes things fall out the edges if I over stuff the roll. It's pretty rare and I've gotten good at estimating the amount of filling I need but it's just something to keep in mind.

Works great
Thanks to YouTube, where I learned sushi rolling mats existed, I am enjoying making my own sushi rolls at a price I can afford. I don't know how long these sushi roll mats will last, but they have already paid for themselves as of this writing. The spoon is nice too, as it does not damage the nonstick finish of my rice cooker, but I would have preferred another mat instead of the spoon.

Good for price.
This maki or roll sushi rolling set is OK for beginners and those who are occasional users. It will definitely do the job. However, if you want very taut look of rolls and bear perfect shapes, then you need something better made. However, those are much more expensive and are not made in China. These come with many visible small imperfections but perhaps that makes it more personal. Overall, an OK product at very low price.

Good quality that holds up over time
5 years later I still use these pads to make sushi. It would be great if there was some way they could be designed to prevent the rice from getting stuck in between the slats, but I can't think of one. I just put plastic wrap over it and it works great.

Inexpensive, nice starter set
This is a really nice starter kit for making your own sushi. The bamboo mats are holding up well. The wooden knife is nice for mixing the sushi vinegar seasoning into the rice in the recommended slicing motion. The rice paddle is so-so...it's a bit rough and could use some sanding. I just use my bamboo spoon for scooping the rice. All in all, it's a nice set for beginning to make sushi.
