I had to giggle when reading the comments about the "holes in the hat" since they are very clearly shown in the image of the hat its self! I have a 2.5 year old boy so most would assume to order the toddler hat. My concern was that it was not an adjustable strap, and he has a large head so I ordered the youth boys. It is a tid bit big on him but he can grow into it and the adjustable strap has enough movement that I can make it fit his head mostly just fine as long as he doesn't pull it too far down. The hat seems to be great quality including the pre made holes, I don't usually buy pre made holey items but my son loved the tractor on this particular design!

Have a little neighbor boy (3yoa). Rides his John Deere tractor up and down the street. (Between Home and Grandparents house). So cute. Saw this and just had to get it for him. His Mom and Dad love it, but him, not so much. It adorns his bedroom wall with other John Deere items. Maybe someday he will take it down and wear it and maybe not. It is joy of giving that is important. The hat is so cute. a bit pricey-but it's John Deere! Would do it again.

Fits my 2 year old perfectly. He loves it.

I bought the 5-10 years size for my 2.5 year old. As expected, it's quite large for him, but I wanted the velcro strap vs the elastic. He also has a very large noggin (99th percentile) so believe it or not if I tighten the velcro to about half the length it is when unadjusted, it fits his head. I'm a bit disappointed that the design thats painted on is off-center. Based on other reviews it doesn't seem to usually be the case, but I don't have time to exchange his hat since Monday is "hat day" at school and he wants to bring his new tractor hat. I purchased it for $14.99 which to me seems like a lot for a child's hat, but I think at the end of the day you're probably paying for the brand. I almost went with a different, cheaper tractor hat, but it wouldn't have made it here in time so this one will do. Luckily it seems like it'll fit for years to come.

My son is obsessed with tractors, lawn mowers, and anything that looks John Deere. This hat was perfect for him. He loved it straight out of the box, and it has become his staple head gear for any time we go outside. You can tell from the feel of the fabric that it’s made of quality materials, and it has held up to months of moderate use as a result. We ordered the 2-4 T when he was about 18 months, which has left him plenty of room to grow. It’s still a little loose now with him at just over the two year mark, so I anticipate it going on to fit him at least through next summer which gives the product good longevity as well.

Can't wait for my little boy to wear this
